Just the Best

Having spent our Easter break in Brixham, along with my daughter, her partner, and our young granddaughter who is 3 and half. We have found the best place to stay in Brixham, so close to The Harbour, we could almost touch the water. From the moment we arrived, everything about The Quay was excellent. Very clean and very comfortable.Should you not want to go out, you could just sit and relax and watch the world go by from the longe sofa. We met Pauline and her family, they all made us very welcome. Nothing too much trouble, and they all worked very hard. We ate breakfast in the Montpellier twice, and had dinner one evening. Top marks, lovely food, thank you. Looked at the website upon our return, to find they also do Pizzas. Wish we had known that one ! Brixham lacks places to eat, other than if you want fish and chips ! The Montpellier, we now wish we had gone there every evening. The Blue Anchor pub by the harbour, does not take children under 10, even in their EMPTY resturant ! Will we return, yes we will. Might suggest to Pauline, a breakfast and dinner package would be a Fab idea. Kindest regards to you all.

Fantastic..

Loved the location and the flat. On arrival we picked up the keys from the owner who also owns the restaurant, one of the best in Brixham I may hasten to add, below the flat. The owners are very welcoming. We were able to park outside to unload, and then we picked up a parking permit from the shop down the road called hobnobs.. Cost of around £30 for the week. Everything in the flat was modern and to a high standard. We will be defiantly visiting again. Walks to Berry head are superb and well worth the walk which is about an hour. Also walks around the battle gardens and the woods beyond. We were struggling with the weather, but there is only bad clothing not bad weather, we managed to dodge the rain... On the whole we had a great time staying here. Highly recommended the restaurant downstairs where we ate a few times. Only disappointing thing was having to leave..
