The best view

We have just returned from a weekend break at 6 Linden Court, Brixham. This apartment is 'top notch' with the most stunning views right across the bay & harbour. Yes there are a number of steps down to the harbour, where there is a great selection of pubs, cafés & restaurants, and back up again, but it is so worth it for the views. There is a huge picture window and a lovely balcony to sit on if you are lucky with the weather, as we were. The apartment itself is quite small but well equipped and stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and ideal for a couple. I would recommend a stay at this apartment.

Excellent!

This is a really lovely apartment. The views are exactly as described and shown on the website. It is set in the hillside with views of the harbour, marina and out to sea. It is a relatively steep climb from the village but you can take the slightly longer road way if you can't manage steps, but wouldn't be for the infirm. However, a lot of Brixham accommodation is like this and you are more than compensated by the lovely views and high standard of the apartment. The balcony catches the morning sun and is a lovely place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. There is on-site parking but the spaces are quite narrow. It is also a little tight at the end of the bed getting to the wardrobe but the accommodation is of such an excellent standard it is perfectly fine for a holiday. We would most definitely come again.

Beautiful Brixham

Stayed for a week in May. Location is amazing, easy walking distance into Brixham, as long as you are okay with hills and steps, didn't use our car once. We walked and took the boat everywhere. Apartment was amazing, everything we could possibly need was there, even a pint of milk. Amazing views and a car parking place as well. Will come back.

Amazing views

First class apartment with superb views. Easy access to harbour where you can utilise boat trips to Torquay, Paignton and Dartmouth at very cheap fares. Car parking a bit tight and climb back to apartment from harbour is not for the faint hearted. Excellent coastal walks with great scenery.

6 Linden Court

As a holiday flat for two taking into consideration the climb back from the Quay, balanced against the view from the balcony, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the accommodation. It would be an added bonus if the garden area in front of the apartments could be opened up for use as the sun is in the garden far longer than on the balconies.

Relaxing Short Break

6 Linden Court had a fantastic balcony with great view of Harbour and all the activity down there. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had every utensil you could wish to use. Pint of milk and tea and coffee on arrival was very welcome after long drive. The parking spaces are very tight if all apartments are occupied unless you have a small car. We parked up and didn't use car until leaving so was not a problem. Would book to stay here again in future.

Blue Chip Apartment in Brixham

Myself and my husband arrived in Brixham on Monday 15.12.2014 to a beautifully decorated apartment. The town Brixham is very small but with lovely sea views from our apartment. What a surprise I got when we went down to see where we could have a bite to eat on Monday evening the and to our astonishment found that there very few restaurant open and doing business, so quaint! What a shock to have to climb all those stairs to the apartment at the top of the hill. On Tuesday we tried to go to Totnes for Christmas shopping but unfortunately we were unable to find any parking and therefore had to return to Brixham. Wednesday we drove along the coastal road to Salcombe along the coast it was fantastic, the weather was awful but the drive was well worth it as the sights are magnificent absolutely stunning. Thursday we went to Paignton to travel by Steam train to Kingswear to catch the ferry to Dartmouth, where we went up the Dartmouth river and saw the Castle and also Agatha Christie's old home. The staff are excellent and we really enjoyed the trip although we went at the wrong time and missed the Round Robin trip which we plan to do in the new future.

Excellent location.

The apartment was very spacious and clean with all the amenities you need on a self catering holiday. The balcony was a good size and gave great views of the harbour and surrounding area. We had a great holiday the weather was kind and we would come back again and would recommend the apartment to other people.

The Place to relax

My Partner Wendy and I recently stayed at 6 Linden Court in Brixham Devon TQ5 8JA. I include the postcode as it is not included on the Blue Chip Website or their Map. It is only revealed on Booking. This is the only oversight that I encountered. The location of the apartment is central to the top tier of houses overlooking the harbour, so gives the best possible view. However this comes with the obvious issue of getting up and down the hill. There is a designated parking space at the apartment and there is ample parking in the town itself, if you wish to drive. Otherwise taxis are cheap and if you are fit, then the walk is a good workout. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and good quality bed linen is provided with an additional quilt and blanket in the wardrobe. The Bedroom also contains a very comfortable super-king bed and plenty of storage space and hangers. The bathroom is spotless and modern with both bath and shower, plenty of towels are also provided plus liquid soap & shower gel. In the lounge there is a comfortable sofa and armchair plus a dining table with room for four. There are games, books, DVDs (and a decent player to watch them on), an iPod Player, flatscreen TV and more .. basically all the comforts of home. There is a well equipped kitchen with a high quality selection of china, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans and a huge casserole dish plus all the tools that a kitchen needs. The inclusion of tea, coffee, drinking chocolate with milk in the fridge was a welcome and unexpected bonus, as was the box of Devon Fudge! It is those little touches that set this apartment apart from others and is tantamount to the dedication and professionalism of the Sam Lacey the manager of the apartments, who was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. After reading the visitor's book, it was good to see that the few issues that previous visitors had, were all addressed to the extent that there was nothing that we needed on arrival. In fact the little extras proved useful : Binoculars, a torch, iron & ironing board and a vacuum cleaner. There was probably more than that. There is a drawer of literature related to the local sites. and the Visitors Book is worth a read for tips on where to visit. The Queens Arms pub is only 20 yards from the apartment but is a quiet real ale pub with friendly locals and excellent beer inside. The food in the Thai-Indian fusion restaurant by the quayside car park is excellent and the fish & chips from anywhere seemed good quality. We drove on the ring road to Torquay and found an excellent pub restaurant called the Hare & Hounds on Newtown Road. It has one of the best carveries that we have ever eaten. Speaking of Torquay, it is worth taking the Riverboat trip to Torquay across the bay. It is only £2.00 return. Make a day of it and get the Steam Railway to Kingswear and hop across to Dartmouth, a great day out for less than £20.00 each So in short, this apartment is a real gem and is carefully looked after. My only fear is that it will become too popular and I will find it hard to get a booking.

The apartment was attractively furnished, clean and well equipped with comfortable bed, and lounge/dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed. The views of Brixham harbour were fantastic. Sam, the apartment caretaker/ cleaner, was very helpful, the coffee and milk on arrival was very welcome. We were glad of the allocated parking space, we didn't move the car all week, walking up and down into Brixham (though the walk back up is not for the faint hearted or unfit with about 180 steps in all!) The bus service to the rest of Torbay was excellent with buses every ten minutes.

Linden Court, Brixham

My wife and I have stayed in two apartments in Linden Court, and many more holiday apartments, cottages, hotels etc over the years. We find Linden Court ideal - wonderful harbour view, set back from the main streets so quiet, and the facilities and cleanliness are always excellent. We will certainly be visiting again. The only drawback is the walk back to the apartments from the harbour, up sloping streets and steps - but hey, this is what Brixham is all about, and the legs grow stronger with each trip.

Brixham Holiday at 6 Lyndon Court

These apartments in Brixham have the most beautiful view across the harbour and sea. The apartment is so well furnished with plenty of room for 2 persons and loads of storage space for clothes. There is no need to take anything with you other than your clothes and yourselves. As everything else is in the apartment for you to use, even Milk left in the fridge with plenty of packets of tea, coffee and sugar etc so you don't have to race to the shops for supplies. You can have a well-earned tea or coffee when you arrive. I liked the touch of leaving a box of Brixham toffee and fudge. We had a wonderful time in this apartment and it helped make our holiday, I would recommend it and hopefully will return for another holiday there. To book the apartment was so easy online through the Blue Chip site and they kept us upto date with everything from the time of booking to the end of our holiday.

Excellent

I loved everything about 6 Linden Court but it was the view that did it for me. I sat on the balcony first thing in the morning and last thing at night. I couldn't get enough of it. I had a permanent smile on my face. I felt so relaxed which is what I wanted after a very stressful time. It was great and I've told everyone about it even though my visit was in November. Thank you. I plan to return in April '16.

Blue Chip Holidays

Both my wife and I have been returning to Blue chip and to Brixham for many years now, this is in the main due to the service provided by Blue Chip, secondly by the holiday flats which they let. We have no reason to change what we see as good holiday provider, out of all the location provided, and we have tried other apart from Brixham, we always return to Brixham because of the scenery and the view from flat we rent.
