Value for money

We always use Blue Chip Holidays as you get an excellent service and the properties are of a very good standard. We have just spent our 3rd year at The Moorings in Brixham and would highly recommend the complex.

No drama holiday.

Booked with Blue Chip again this year and as usual it was drama free and value for money. The apartment was as described and a great place to stay. Minutes from all the attractions and a wonderful view from the balcony.

Moorings Reach

My wife and I have holiday,d with blue chip ever since they had apartment,s in moorings reach in fact we watched moorings reach being built it was a boat yard when we first went to brixham, when they had finished building we went to blue chip's office it was on moorings reach in those days,so we booked an apartment with them so impressed with it we booked more holidays with them in cornwal as well,we book new year with them every year this is the truth because the appartments are first class and I can't praise the staff to highly they do a great job of looking after the property already booked for this new year in moorings reach if you want a good holiday go with go with blue chip.Russell(CARDIFF)

50 Moorings Reach

We are regular Blue Chip customers and have always been very happy with the quality of the properties and service. Moorings Reach is our particular favourite, we would however try other Blue Chip properties and have recommended you successfully to several friends

Luxury Living

A very rare occurrence for us to return to the same place for two consecutive years. However, our good experience last year at Moorings Reach made us want to revisit but this time take our son and his fiancée. Last year we stayed in no.55 but as we needed 2 bedrooms and bathrooms this time we opted for no.50. The apartment is superb with lots of space and wonderful views and facilities. The 47 (approx.) steps is a bit of a drag but we knew about this beforehand and decided that we would rather do this than keep having to go up and down stairs within the apartment or go to another location and face the steep streets of Brixham every time we went out. I love the location as its easy walking distance to town yet quite peaceful despite the nearby pub. The only downside with no.50 is that it only gets the sun on the balcony (which is actually too small for 4 people) in the early morning but a small price to pay for the facilities and location as we spend most of the day out anyway. I doubt we'll be back for our British holiday next year but only because there are a lot of other places we want to visit.

Worth every penny

AAAH!! Brixham, don't you just love it. Have stayed in Brixham with Blue Chip two years running now, and this year we paid that little bit extra to stay in Moorings Reach. We were not disappointed at all. Number 50 is a lovely spacious apartment with three bedrooms, sleeping five, so the two of us had ample space to enjoy. Even if there had been five people then there would have been plenty of room. The en suite to the master bedroom and the second bathroom adjacent to the second bedroom proved to be very practical to us. The apartment is nice and bright, well appointed and with a good view over the marina and bay. The overall opinion of the apartment is that it is more than adequate for a family or group of five people, extremely comfortable, well equipped and close to all local services. Just a few minutes walk on level ground takes you on a pleasant stroll in to the town with more than enough eating houses to tempt you in for a sociable meal and to sample the plentiful fish dishes. Just the thought of it makes us wish we were still there. As in the review title, this apartment is worth every penny. The only downside to the apartment would be that being on the fourth floor with no lift is a fair climb for any person with limited mobility. Fortunately for us we are relatively fit seniors and managed it quite well. This would not put us off a return visit. This is yet another Blue Chip property to be recommended.

Holiday in Brixham

Excellent views from the property. We appreciated the information beforehand and ease of key collection. Excellent location. We have already booked our next holiday with Blue Chip as we find them very professional. Luckily the weather was good for the time of year. Can't wait to come back next year Regards Kerry Lindsay

The day I started

The day my wife and I started our holidays with Blue Chip were when they had their office on Moorings Reach and we have been with them every year since, that tells you how good their properties are. Our last holiday at Moorings Reach in Devon was excellent, it had every thing you want, sea view, short walk to Brixham, and a short drive (or go by bus) to Paignton a very good pub next to the flat with very good food if you don't want to go far for a meal, all in all a great firm to book your holidays with.

Amazing Marina Views

Fabulous location with a wonderful view. Very convenient for all local amenities and extra car parking if needed. Stylish comfortable interior with a large kitchen. Enjoyed local attractions, Steam Railway, ferry to Torquay, Babbacombe Cliff Railway, Greenway, Coleton Fishacre and walks to secluded beaches from the coastal path. A great holiday enjoyed by three different generations.

Moorings reach Brixham devon

Beautiful view, beautiful apartment, felt like ultimate luxury. Would highly recommend both the apartment and the view! Easy to access, but need to be fit with the amount of stairs! Wears off the ice cream and chips though. Brixham is a fantastic fishing town. Marvellous to watch all what is going on. Cannot find fault with anything, another brilliant holiday.
