Moorings reach brilliant

We have recently come back from a holiday in Brixham at Moorings Reach. We love Brixham and as a family have been many times on holiday. Moorings Reach is in an ideal location for all areas of Brixham including the beach and town. It's all level walking so suitable for buggies and older people and the most wonderful views. The houses/ apartments are modern, clean and bright . I would thoroughly recommend them for a holiday base and we will be returning .

Blue Chip Holidays at Moorings Reach

Having been to Brixham a dozen times most with Blue Chip we found this last one most relaxing and enjoyable and pleased to see high standards of service and quality have not fallen. We will be back as soon as we can. Many thanks from the Thompson family

39 Mooring Reach

We enjoyed an excellent holiday in this property for 2nd year running. There is so much activity in the harbour to see that it is interesting to watch at all times. An excellent house on 3 levels so need to be able to cope with stairs.

39 Moorings Reach

We arrived on the 13th July and we could not have asked for more. Lovely weather, great property and a fantastic view. With our keys we had an advice note informing us of the Royal visit which was something very different. A fantastic week and we will most certainly be back for another stay.

39 Moorings Reach

Our holiday party enjoyed another great holiday at Moorings Reach Brixham. Moorings Reach is a fab location, close to Brixham Marina. Brixham is a lovely seaside town and is within easy reach of many places to visit such as Torquay, Cockington, Paignton, Dartmouth and the lovely town of Totnes, which has a great Friday market. Can highly recommend Blue Chip and Moorings Reach. Our four legged holidaying family member also enjoyed and is particularly pleased that there are a number of pet friendly properties available via Blue Chip. We are all hoping we can book with Blue Chip again soon. Thank you to all at Blue Chip and Rosemary and her staff at Moorings Reach.

39 Moorings Reach

We really enjoyed our stay and the house was well furnished and maintained. One of our parties was quite ill but he was still able to enjoy the views of the harbour and all the activity even though he wasn't well enough to go out.

Fantastic holiday home.

39 Moorings Reach is a fantastic holiday home. It is nicely furnished and very well equipped. I holidayed with my husband and grown up son so it was nice to have 2 bedrooms both with their own bathrooms. The views couldn't be better, you could practically fall out of bed and into the harbour. I have booked with Blue Chip holidays before and have always found them to be an excellent company to deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Moorings Reach, comfortable house, secure parking, amazing view from the patio over the harbour. Very accessible area for walking and getting the ferry/water taxi. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Moorings Reach - Almost perfect

The week spent at 39 Moorings Reach was brilliant, perfect position overlooking the harbour and beyond. Bedrooms with en-suite fantastic, but I did have to put a duvet on the mattress as I found the bed quite hard. Pleasant and welcome surprise having TV in the bedroom. Lounge, kitchen and dining room very clean and comfortable. There was just one thing missing, in these days of advanced technology I was disappointed to find no wi-fi. Even while on holiday, I like to keep in touch with family and friends, not everyone has a mobile phone with this facility, but many have tablets which cannot be used without it. That is the one thing I believe is missing from an otherwise brilliant place to stay.

Beautiful view and Location

We have just had a very enjoyable week in this property. Wonderful views and easy walking to local amenities and for the dog. The property was clean and welcoming plus easy access to getting the keys. The property manager was on hand on the phone at any time. We did need her when the heating didn't work. She was helpful but we did have to do it manually but that wasn't a problem. One of the beds had to have two duvets to sleep on as it was too hard, but the other bed was fine. Very good to have two en-suites as well as a toilet on the ground floor next to lounge and kitchen and dining room. Overall it was excellent. However because this was a winter break we really did miss having WIFI! most properties these days have wifi, it seems so outdated not to. If the owner could install wifi then this would be perfect!!

Great Location. Excellent facilities and very comfortable

Great place to stay with easy access to everything around us in Brixham. The house is full of equipment including dishwasher and washing machine although we didn't use them. My only thing is that the property was lacking in a new coat of paint outside making it a little shabby compared to some of the other properties. Being the beginning of the season that was my only disappointment.

39 Moorings Reach - September 2015

This is a beautiful location with stunning views across to Torquay and the outer harbour. The accommodation was clean and fresh and the beds (twin on the top floor) were comfortable and crisp. Ample towels and hand soaps provided and (never mentioned but important) decent loo paper! The only things that we could come up with for improvement were instructions for the heating/hot water and the showers were O.K. but could be better. The free WiFi is very useful and I am glad to say that there wasn't a hint of dog to be seen, smelled anywhere.

Lovely holiday

We arrived to a very clean spacious house and thoroughly enjoyed our week long break. King William pub next door for a pint and decent pub grub (they do a good carvery) also a very nice Italian Restaurant (Bacco). Our only (small)negative is the house is starting to look just a little tired. Situated overlooking the Marina we would have liked a little more luxury especially where the beds are concerned we found them quite uncomfortable so didn't sleep that well. Otherwise we would highly recommend 39 Moorings Reach :)

Lovely experience

This was the second time we have stayed at the 39 Moorings Reach Brixham with Blue chip holidays. The accommodation is superb with lovely views over the harbour. Very central place and easy walking to the local shops and eateries. The bunch of flowers on our arrival along with mince pies was very welcoming. Also warming to have the christmas tree and decorations in the lounge, a nice touch. Have already booked for next year! We suggested wifi from our last booking and this has been installed which is much appreciated. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be to have the tarpaulin removed from the patio furniture. It slightly spoilt the view and we would like to have actually sat on the chairs at times as the weather was so mild. Instead of which we had to stand when drinking our morning coffee on the balcony! But then again that is easily remedied. Apart from that everything was wonderful, thank you to the owners, the property managers and to blue chip.
