Description

Middle Manor is a stylish collection of newly built cottages offering comfortable, contemporary living, situated in a central location.

The cottages offer easy access to the town centre, which is within a five minute stroll, and is home to a selection of independent shops offering local produce and unique gifts.

The picturesque harbour is within easy reach where you can watch the fishermen land their catch. The harbourside is flanked by a selection of family run restaurants offering fresh fish and the finest of local produce.  For a more casual sample of the local catch, head to one of the harbourside shops offering oysters and fresh shellfish, or for the less adventurous, a hearty portion of fish and chips.

From the harbourside, a short walk along the coastal path leads to a selection of beaches and coves, as well as the ever popular sea water swimming pool at Shoalstone.

Those looking to entertain the family should head to Paignton, home to a fine selection of attractions including Paignton Zoo, the UK’s third largest zoo, the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway and Quaywest Waterpark.

Torquay is within a nine mile drive and offers a variety of both independent shops and high street names, ideal for a spot of retail therapy. Torquay is also home to top attractions such as Living Coasts and the Babbacombe Model Village, as well as a good selection of facilities such as Ten Pin Bowling.

First Class

What a fantastic accommodation, well within walking distance to harbour. Very clean property with ample appliances at hand. Mr Bright was in easy contact and manages the property very well. Many thanks. The Wright and Family.

Lovely, modern and contemporary house, very clean and well located for the town centre and surrounding areas. Had everything you would need. We had a great stay and would recommend it to our friends and family.

1 Middle Manor Cottages

Booking was an easy 10mins online and sorted. Made very welcome at accommodation, very friendly and accommodation was 1st class. Lots of things to do and great places to eat. If staying in Brixham I highly recommend Breakwater Bistro in evening great staff and food is fantastic. Made the stay brilliant. Considering booking again for next year already.

Family stay

Our accommodation was modern clean and had everything we needed. The essentials we found in the fridge on our arrival were very welcomed after a long drive. Located centrally to brixham with only a short walk to the harbour and town centre was extremely convenient. We were a family of four and two grand parents, one dog. The rooms were large and there was enough space to not get under each other's feet and enough utensils for all of us. My only feedback for other visitors is parking outside the property can be a problem however there is plenty of free parking if you don't mind a short walk. The locals tend to know how to get round this we had the same cars parked outside and watched as they switched places each day so no one else could park. Maybe worth getting permit parking if it's possible just so holiday makers don't have to trek to far with the luggage. This is a small thing thou really and not to take away from a great stay.

Brixham 2015

Brixham (and Torbay in general) is a great place to holiday. We will definitely return next year. I'd recommend walks along the harbour - both sides. I'd also recommend visits to Shoalstone Sea Pool; Berry Head; Cockington; and Buckfast Abbey. The property - 1 Middle Manor Cottage, was well positioned, about 5 mins walk from the harbour. There is a steep hill to climb so if you have anyone who has walking or breathing difficulties (as we did) I suggest hiring a mobility scooter from the unit on the central car park. It made a huge difference. The Gulls were very noisy, but we were at the seaside, so what else could we expect.

Brixham, Devon

We booked the property two weeks prior to arrival, we couldn't have asked for a more friendly company. The information given regarding the property was accurate, and customer service was 5 star. Receiving an email the day after we arrived to ensure we had no complaints. The property and location was gorgeous, very comfortable stay, with the harbour, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. My son enjoyed riding his scooter down the many hills. The road the property is on can be quite busy at times, then other times we had full use for scooter fun. The only gripe about the property would be no outdoor space, or use of a balcony. But overall wonderfull stay, from beginning to end
