When we say The Beaver Inn sits close to the Torridge estuary we mean it’s so close to the water that you can almost touch it, and it enjoys one of the most scenic spots in the region. The pub sits on the banks of the estuary where the Taw meets the Torridge, and its views stretch across Saunton Sands, over to Instow and on to Barnstaple. You can even sit outside on the patio and make the most of them while you dine.
Dogs are welcome inside and out (except in the dining room), and the menu always includes the catch of the day and a whole host of local produce just waiting to be sampled. If you take your dog along you’ll be welcome to dine in the pub, and thanks to its location you’ll be able to watch the boats returning with the catch of the day right outside of the window.
There’s also a selection of real ales and fine wines to help you to unwind, and all meals are cooked from scratch while you enjoy the surroundings and unwind. You’re welcome to let the staff know if you have any dietary requirements before your visit and they’ll do their best to cater for them.
