Little Dartmouth Castle WalkTake this circular, four mile walk along the famous South West Coast Path and experience sea views, Dartmouth’s historic castle and the River Dart. This walk begins and ends in the National Trust car park in Redlap, and is graded easy to moderate. As it follows the coast path the terrain is even, although areas can become muddy in wet conditions. The coastal path is signposted from the car park and the route follows it along the shoreline, through woodland and past Dartmouth Castle, and is one of the most beautiful walks in Dartmouth.

Walking FrowardA more challenging walk in Kingswear, this one starts outside the Royal Dart Hotel and is eight miles long. This walk is challenging, but those who follow it will be rewarded with some stunning coast and country views. Crossing inland over the peninsula between Brixham and Kingswear, this trail stretches to Scabbacombe Head with its impressive vantage points, before following the South West Coast Path back past Froward Point. This walk includes several stiles and is hilly, so it is best not to attempt it if you struggle with obstacles and inclines.
