The Dartmouth Museum occupies a 1640 merchant’s house - the perfect setting to delve further into the area’s past.

Beach Holidays in Dartmouth & Kingswear
Dartmouth’s closest beach is hidden treasure, Blackpool Sands. Approximately 3 miles away from Dartmouth and Kingswear, this attractive and sheltered family-friendly shingle beach is one of the South Hams’ finest.
The beach has toilets, showers, cafes and shops, and is suitable for disabled access. Dogs are not permitted on the beach during the summer, and BBQs are welcome after 5pm. Dog Friendly Holidays in Dartmouth & Kingswear
Dogs are welcome at Greenway although they must be kept on leads and wait outside in the courtyard, water is provided. Dogs are welcome to journey with the Dartmouth Steam Railway and Riverboat Company for a fare of £1.
