Superb holiday!

Just spent a week in The Towans, a brand new property, of five star standard! It was fitted with everything you could think of, and even a pint of fresh milk in the fridge and fresh flowers in the living area! Very quiet location, about a mile from the sea, and less than 2 miles to Padstow, which is renowned for its many fine restaurants. Owner Nick was extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with! Overall, a faultless holiday!

Sunshine and style

This is one of three chalets on a beautifully landscaped site. Very easy to get aroound and lovely seaside planting of grasses and flowering shrubs. The chalet was light and airy and equipped with good quality crockery, celery and glasses. Bathroom and shower room were excellent. We loved the large living room with enough space for more family members to visit. The view from the back extends to Trevose Head which is only a couple of miles away and the village is ten minutes' walk. Mr and Mrs Leigh were on site to help. The only improvement I can think of is more comfortable pillows and better bed linen. We were very happy there and would definitely go again.

Great week at The Towans

We had a fabulous week at The Towans and we were so lucky to have sunny weather for most of the week. We stayed at No.3, it's ideally situated close to lots of beaches and very close to Padstow too. We enjoyed body boarding, cycling The Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge and sampling fish and chips at Rick Steins takeaway. Another highlight was 2 days at Watergate Bay beach in 30 degree heat and we managed to get a reservation at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant - well worth a visit! We had booked seats for The Minnack Theatre and it was worth the 1.5 hour drive to get there, we then had a picnic lunch on Porthcurno beach - fabulous setting. The Towans is such a quiet spot and you get sunshine the whole day, it's great to fling open the french doors and eat out on the deck watching the sunset on an evening. We will definitely be back.

Towans - hidden treat at Cornwall!!

Wonderful Cornwall - we know it well! The Towans makes it a lovely holiday - all you need in a compact holiday home. Clean, well stocked and comfortable (beds are lovely). Easy key collection, car parking. Location is great for the beaches, Padstow, Fowey and etc. A lovely laid back surf holiday, will we stay again - of course!!
