Lovely place to stay

Gorgeous cottage, very homely! Just returned from February half term and we've had a super week. Barn Cottage is in an excellent location. We would happily stay here again!

We had a wonderful week at Barn Cottage.

We had a wonderful week at Barn Cottage with such beautiful weather. Mawgan Porth beach was our favourite place. The the barn was perfect, especially for the children aged 3 and 4, it had everything we needed. See you again!

A superb house!

Everything we needed was provided. It is clean with beautiful decor and attention to detail. Loved exploring the area, Porthcothan Beach is beautiful in the morning with plenty of rock pools! Enjoyed an evening at 'Fifteen' having bar snacks sitting alongside Jamie Oliver himself!

Such a lovely cottage.

Everything has been thought of. The Village shop is a treasure and the local Falcon Inn serves great beer and food. Port Isaac is lovely and interesting for fans of the TV series; 'Doc Martin'. Overall we had a lovely, relaxing week and would certainly visit again.

Fabulous, Homely Cottage.

We couldn't wait to get back here every afternoon and evening for endless games in front of the fire. Had some spectacular stormy weather this week, but still had a relaxing few days. This place ranks as one of the most perfect self catering homes we've stayed in.

Barn Cottage

Just perfect! Barn Cottage exceeded our expectations. Probably the most perfect holiday home we have ever stayed in. So close to the beaches and Padstow and the 'Beach Hut' in Watergate Bay is a must!

Well appointed cottage.

Well appointed cottage that really had everything we needed for a family of four. We loved the Falcon Pub and the village store and the views from the cliffside walk were amazing. Highlight for me was Rick Steins' Fish & Chips in Padstow, it's very good, although it took a brisk Camel trail cycle ride to burn it off!

We have really loved staying at Barn Cottage.

A great cosy home to come back to in chilly February. We have all loved delving into the books, the girls haven't read anything they brought with them as they couldn't resist the pile on offer! All the beds were really comfy, I can honestly say that we'd all love to stay here again! Thank you for the lovely welcome basket of local produce, for foodies like us it was most appreciated.

Barn Cottage

We had a lovely week in a beautiful cottage. We've loved staying in the village and definitely want to come back. The weather wasn't great, but it didn't matter when we had the log fire to come back to.

Barn Cottage

Fabulous, homely cottage. We couldn't wait to get back here every afternoon/eve for endless games of monopoly and cards in front of the fire. Had some spectacular stormy weather this week which unfortunately reduced our time in the surf but still had a very relaxing 4 days. This place ranks of one of the most perfect self catering homes we've stayed in.

5 star, Newquay

I could not recommend Blue Chip Holidays highly enough. The cottage my family and I stayed in was beautiful. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Heating on and a welcome basket of goodies was just the start. The fittings and fixtures were of high quality. Everything we needed was also provided for, from towels to family game to hot water bottles it was all there. My favourite thing to do was watch one of the many DVDs provided in the evening with a glass of wine in front of the fire or simply reading one of the hundreds of books on the rocking chair overlooking the garden. Cooking was also a pleasure. There were many recipe books to inspire me at dinner times.

Lovely House !

Lovely, lovely house in a lovely, lovely area. A different beach to explore every day despite it being January. Sun shone and while the rest of the country laboured under snow, we enjoyed almost Spring-like walks on dunes and cliffs and long sandy beaches. Bliss! Comfortable and chic, a truly fab property. We must return!

Wonderful Stay.

We've had a wonderful stay at Barn Cottage and were blessed with great weather on all days. A very chic house with an amazing array of books and DVDs. We had a lovely sunny walk at the Bedruthan Steps and even ate at Jamie's Fifteen twice in one day! Brilliantly located house and we hope to return again!

The Barn at Mawgan Porth

We had a wonderful time staying in Barn Cottage in Mawgan Porth. The inside looked like it had come out of an interior design magazine, very stylish and contained all the amenities we needed. We had a fantastic week walking and surfing. When the weather wasn't so nice we were able to relax in the cottage. The cottage is ideally located within a quiet village, and it was only a short drive to a number of surfing beaches and towns. Blue Chip Holidays have been fantastic and we'd definitely book through them again.

Barn cottage

Super house! Everything we needed was provided (towels, DVDs, games etc) and decorated in a very homely, comfortable style. Great location for accessing beautiful beaches but just far enough from the hustle and bustle in a pleasant village. Also only a few miles to both Newquay and Padstow. Di, the housekeeper was very helpful and welcoming.
