Description

The Quarter Deck is stunningly furnished in a romantic French style and located in the beautiful village of Polperro. The River Pol runs in front of the property which winds its way to one of the most enchanting harbour villages in Cornwall. It also has the enviable benefits of its own private parking.

This beautiful cottage is furnished to the highest standard throughout. It has every modern comfort whilst offering many character features such as antique paintings, furnishings, French style mirrors and much more.

Situated in the lovely village of Polperro, this property benefits from a private furnished patio and parking. It is only seconds away from the famous Crumplehorn Mill, known for great ales and hearty food. The property is just a leisurely walk away from the harbour or you could take the tram which runs from across the road. There are many pubs, restaurants, boat trips, coastal walks and a sandy beach at low tide.

Polperro is arguably one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall, characterised by a jumble of fishermen’s cottages and colourful boats anchored in the harbour. Here you will also find a handful of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to enjoy along with the Polperro Museum and The Shell House, a popular local attraction. Try the famous Blue Peter, a characterful Inn offering great Cornish cider, hearty food and live music on certain nights (dogs welcome).

There is also a small sandy beach in Polperro at low tide. Be sure to visit the miniature village or take a boat trip from Polperro Harbour. Polperro also hosts a music festival each year and celebrates Bonfire night with spectacular fireworks.

There is a local golf course at nearby Looe, National Trust houses, the Duchy Garden Centre and much more within easy reach. The area is also ideal for keen walkers, with spectacular coastal walks within easy reach, such as the cove at Talland Bay with its exclusive restaurant, beach and tearooms.

Lovely cottage refurbished to a very high standard, very clean and tastefully decorated. Good location with Crumplehorn Inn a short distance away.

Great for:

The Quarterdeck, Polperro.

It was really lovely to arrive at our holiday accommodation and find everything so clean and welcoming. The welcome pack was very good (including the bottle of wine) The cottage was everything described on Blue Chip website and they couldn't have been more helpful to us. We will definitely recommend them to our friends. 3 very satisfied holiday makers from Birchington, Kent.
