Description

Stone House, formerly known as Sand Castles, is a great place to enjoy a relaxing break. Internally, the property has been finished to an excellent standard with all mod-cons being provided to make your holiday as comfortable as possible.  This property is perfect for beach life with an outdoor shower, surf board storage in the garage and a patio area to the rear of the property to relax with a cool drink. A particular benefit is the parking are where there is room for four vehicles.

Getting to the beach couldn't be easier; simply walk a few steps from your front door and you're there! The soft golden sand is a delight in summer or winter. Perfect for picnics, water sports or playing frisbee and, when you've had enough of the beach there is a friendly watering hole conveniently located directly on the beach.

Perranporth is blessed with miles of golden sand making it popular with sun-worshipers and surfers alike. Formerly a prominent tin mining town, it is now a flourishing and thriving family-friendly holiday resort.

The town played a prominent role during the Second World War as it's airfield was used as a Spitfire station. There is now a permanent reminder of this at the Perranporth airfield, where those who lost their lives are commemorated on a roll of honour.

Perranporth is ideally situated to explore the villages of the North Cornwall area including St Agnes, Porthtowan and Holywell Bay, famed for being the home of W.J.Burley, the creator of Cornish detective, Wycliffe.

Stone House

Stone House is the perfect holiday home - so close to beach and shops and the house has everything you need too! This was the 3rd time we have stayed there and will be back!

Stone House

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, the house was in a perfect location, was wonderful to wake up and see the sea out of the window! The house had all we needed and is beautifully furnished. The Granddads enjoyed the Test Match on Sky! Beds were comfortable - our kids woke past 10am some mornings! The woman looking after the property was helpful and we arrived to a plate of cakes and milk for tea. Really can't say anything negative about the whole experience because it was truly wonderful.

Stone House

This holiday home is the best place we have stayed in. The location is amazing, just a few feet away from the lovely beach, and the views from all the front windows were amazing. Will definitely return again.

Stone House

What a wonderful place, we woke early each morning and took our first cup of coffee ten yards from out doorstep to the sea wall and watched the sea. People walking past looked on with envy, the outside shower was brilliant after a session in the surf, everything we could possibly want was there. We look forward to when we can go back to paradise.

Stone House

Brilliant!!! Couldn't ask for any better. Very quiet at night too. Back again next year, hopefully have a BBQ or outside firepit then. Many thanks.

Holiday heaven

We stayed in Perranporth the house was literally on the beach, just beautiful. The house was ideal, large but cosy, the bedrooms were a good size, two en suites.and a very large family bathroom which were shared by the two other bedrooms. We holidayed many years ago in Perranporth and was very pleased to see that although there were some changes, it has not spoilt the ambiance of this beautiful seaside town. The house and town is suitable for all ages, would highly recommend.

The location

For a seaside holiday you couldn’t wish for a better location, the beach and sea are visible from the house and in a few strides you are on the beach. You must visit Truro Which has a great cathedral and excellent shops and is only a short drive away, and a few miles further down is St Ives which is well worth a visit. There is a cafe not a stones throw from the house which do great food and are very friendly.

A Stones Throw Away

Stone House in Perranporth is in an excellent location, cross the road and you are on the beach. The house itself was clean and tidy and very well equipped. As well as the family bathroom there were also two en suites with towels provided which helps to save space in cars. There is a large double garage with lots of beach equipment in, (not sure if you are allowed to use these though), we had brought our own with us, but if you are allowed then it would again save space in cars. Out back there is an enclosed decking area which is a lovely sun trap and there is plenty of garden furniture, with cushions provided, to use. The house itself is right next door to the Dolphin Cafe, so if you don't want to cook it's ideal for breakfast and lunch. There is plenty of car parking space, which in itself is an added bonus, as it saves money on car park fees. And as I mentioned before, being right by the beach, you don't have to rush to get parking spaces, to set up on the beach in glorious sunshine and then sit there with brollies up, and then down, or shivering in the cold when the wind gets up and eating proper sandwiches. You can do everything at your ease which makes it more of a holiday.

STONE HOUSE PERRANPORTH

We stayed at Stone House with our grandchildren aged from seven to sixteen and really could not fault the whole experience. The house was beautifully clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The location was just perfect the beach being only steps away and yet everything you could possibly want was also only a short walk away. Absolutely wonderful

Perfect Perranporth

We cannot fault The Stone House in Perranporth. We have stayed there for 3 years in a row, having booked easily with Blue Chip Holidays. The location is right on the beach and easy flat walking distance to all the town shops and amenities. The interior is very high quality and decor. The views across the beach and headland are spectacular. A fantastic place for all types of visitors with much to do and see.
