Description

6 Jubilee Close is a contemporary house set within a small development in the pretty village of St Merryn, near Padstow, just ten minutes from Rick Stein's Cornish Arms and one and a half miles from Harlyn Bay.

Internally, the property offers spacious accommodation and is furnished to a high standard throughout. Externally, the garden, complete with furniture, is ideal for relaxing after a busy day exploring.

Harlyn Bay, one of the top five beaches in the UK, is just one and a haldf miles from the property. It  hosts the Harlyn Bay Surf School which is regarded as the best in the area (Surf lessons, Paddleboarding, Kayaking). With St Merryn ideally positioned just four miles from Padstow and 11 miles from Newquay it comes as no surprise that along the coast and surrounding area there are a variety of scenic walks and cycle routes waiting to be discovered. The St Merryn village motto is aptly entitled “Seven Bays for Seven Days” and refers to the seven beaches within the parish Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Iveys Bay, Boobies Bay, Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay, all of which offer a different coastal experience.

Just a short distance away is the popular fishing port of Padstow, characterised by its harbour ambience and reputation for gourmet restaurants. A pleasant and relaxing place to wander around, the medieval network of lanes wind through the small town with most leading to the picturesque harbour. A variety of boat trips regularly depart from the harbour, offering cruises and fishing trips along with a ferry across the estuary to Rock.

This property especially welcomes families.  A cot and a highchair is provided for younger guests, plus there is a stairgate.  For older children there are bunk beds, DVDs, board games and a chess set.

Part of our Baby Blue Chip collection, 6 Jubilee Close offers a whole list of baby items to make things easy for mums and dads. Click here to see what you’ll find in your Baby Blue Chip property.

Blue Chip Holidays

This was our third experience of booking with Blue Chip Holidays and everything was excellent as previous bookings. This was also the third time we had stayed in St Merryn and I would recommend the house and location to both couples and families. Overall an excellent holiday and I look forward to using Blue Chip Holidays again in the future.

6 Jubilee Close

We recently hired 6 Jubilee Close in St. Merryn for a week over New Year. The property looked new - it was very clean, very well maintained, with excellent facilities. Our group consisted of 6 adults and an almost 2 year old. The property included a travel cot, a high chair and a stair gate, which was great, although the cot only really fit in the master bedroom. There was amazing water pressure, which meant amazing showers that you didn't want to get out of! There was even a Christmas tree up which we weren't expecting, and it was a nice seasonal addition. We were left a bottle of wine on arrival, and basic supplies which was nice. The property was an excellent base for our day trips out to Padstow, the beach, and Newquay. And when we stayed in, we could always walk to the local village shops or deli for a delicious salad / pasty / roll, etc. We were able to walk to The Cornish Arms, Rick Stein's pub, and there is also a closer pub nearby. Unfortunately some of the restaurants were closed due to being out of season, but there were still plenty of options. A fantastic property and holiday, and I would definitely recommend it!
