Set on the dramatic north Cornwall coast, The Towans is dotted with secluded luxury lodges that make the most of a stunning setting that’s just moments from the beach. The traditional lodges wouldn’t look out of place in New England, and their luxurious interiors mean guests can enjoy the best of both worlds – the country life and stylish living.
The lodges have bright, airy interiors with plenty of space and an impressive standard of furnishing that makes them warm and welcoming places to spend time together. To ensure that guests don’t miss a moment of the rural views, French windows flood the properties with natural light and see them filled with sunshine throughout the day.
You’ll find Constantine Bay so close to The Towans that you’ll be able to walk to it with everything you need for a day on the beach, and as it’s one of Cornwall’s best surfing beaches it’s the perfect place to embrace the county’s favourite pastime!
Every inch the dune-dotted sandy beach we all expect on our doorsteps during a stay in Cornwall, Constantine Bay has it all – from safe, shallow waters with awards for their cleanliness to easy access and handy amenities. The beach is so close to The Towans that you’ll be able to enjoy a wander along the shore as the sun rises or just spend your days soaking up the sun with the rest of your clan.
The Camel Trail
The Camel Trail runs for 18 gorgeous miles between Padstow, Wadebridge, Bodmin and Wenfordbridge, and as it follows a disused railway line it’s nice and flat for cyclists. The Camel Trail is one of the most unique ways to experience Cornwall’s scenery, and it runs right through a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation.
Don’t worry if you’re not planning on taking the bikes with you on holiday, you’ll find cycle hire shops within Padstow (just a few minutes’ drive from The Towans), and as the route’s pretty much level for the whole way this is one of the most accessible cycling trails in Cornwall.
