The Royal Cornwall Show takes everything we love about life in Cornwall, puts it in one place and makes it into one of the best days out in the South West. This event is held over three days every summer in Wadebridge and it’s always packed with animals, exciting displays, mouth-watering local produce and much more. The show's become one of the region’s leading flower shows, and it also includes stunts shows, live music and plenty of opportunity to sample Cornwall’s infamous produce.
The event showcases the very best of food and farming from throughout the county, and it’s a great place to learn about Cornwall’s rural side, spend time with the family and do some shopping. The animals are always the biggest draw of the show, and they increase in number every year. In fact, every year sees hopeful farmers come from further and further afield as they compete for the awards, and trust us, it makes great entertainment for the visitors!
Aside from the usual farm animals, you can also expect to see dogs, rare breeds, birds and even bees during your visit so don’t forget your camera. The show’s traditional steam fair is always a big hit too, and if you’re after a new car or fancy browsing the tractors you’ll see lines and lines of them waiting for new owners. The Royal Cornwall Show is a unique day out, and although its most popular attractions return year after year there’s always that one highlight in the programme that'll make a return visit one to remember.
