This pretty sandy beach lies just to the west of Padstow, and although one of the less developed beaches in Padstow it also has the advantage of being one of the quietest. There may not be any frills at this beach but with the kind of scenery you see on Cornwall postcards you won’t really want for much to keep you entertained.
The nearest parking is at Harlyn Bay, so you’ll need to walk for around 15 minutes to reach the sand, although the walk does follow the beautiful South West Coast Path so it’s a good excuse to enjoy a section of it. Whilst there are no facilities, the beach is dog friendly all year round so it’s great for a walk with your pet during a dog friendly beach holiday in Padstow.
Here’s a fact to tell your clan on the walk from the car park to the beach, the bay is named after a local wise woman who was also a white witch.
