If you fancy popping to Padstow during a beach holiday in Rock, Constantine Bay is worth a look. This small village just 3 miles from Padstow offers one of the area’s finest beaches. This wide sandy beach in Padstow is a lovely one for families. At low tide the already-large beach connects with Booby’s Bay and they form one huge one, so if you feel like a walk or a change of scene you can try out the other half!
The beach is patrolled by lifeguards between May and September, and dogs are welcome too. Constantine Bay is not only great for enjoying sunny days on the sand, but it’s another favourite spot for surf, but this isn’t a recommended area for learners.
Like so many in north Cornwall, this is another great beach for surf, and there are lifeguards on hand throughout the summer so you can practice or swim with peace of mind. Dogs are welcome on Constantine Bay all year round, so if you’re on a dog-friendly beach holiday in Rock and find it timed with the seasonal dog ban on Rock Beach, this is an alternative.
