Description

Headland View is an exquisite house in a highly desirable location of the Pentire Headland. The house was built on duchy land under the supervision of Prince Charles and the Duchy of Cornwall reflecting the theme of a Cornish fishing village.

Internally, the property features solid oak flooring throughout, and has been tastefully designed and finished by the design team at Laura Ashley, using high quality furnishings to reflect the colours of the sea whilst retaining the charm of a fisherman’s cottage complete with an orangery which will be available from June 2016.

Externally, the spacious, enclosed gardens and sun deck surround the cottage, offering space to sunbathe and dine al fresco, making use of the Jamie Oliver swing barbeque, or unwind in the elevated hot tub or luxury swim spa with sea views. From the gardens you can take in the relaxing sounds of the sea lapping against the exposed coastline, and enjoy views over the sea to the Headland Hotel.

Newquay’s premier surfing beach, Fistral, is just 300 metres away, and is easily accessible by a gentle three minute walk. This close proximity to Fistral Beach makes it easy for friends and families to carry surfboards, picnics and beach gear to the beach, so there is no need to drive.

Equally accessible is the River Gannel tidal estuary, an area popular with bird watchers and anglers. The beauty and tranquillity of the area makes and ideal setting for romantic walks and picnicking.

Whilst in the area, why not enjoy a round at one of the finest links courses in the South West, Newquay Golf Course. For those looking for an adrenaline rush, a visit to the Lusty Glaze Adventure Centre is a must, where activities on offer include rock climbing, abseiling and coasteering.

After an exhausting day of surfing or exploring, it’s time to satisfy the taste buds and with an excellent choice of food on offer, from beach front cafés to continental style brasseries, there really are gastronomic options to suit all occasions and tastes. For a special treat, head to one of the exclusive restaurants in the area, such as Jamie Oliver's Fifteen Cornwall, and indulge in some of the finest decadent delights the South West has to offer.

This property especially welcomes families.  A cot and highchair is provided along with a baby bath and steriliser.  For older children there are books and a Wii games console.

Luxury Swim Spa -  Swim against the jets and benefit from its Hydrotherapy. Rowing exercises and water gymnastics available. Lovely property with great facilities

Our recent stay at headlands view was brilliant. The house was very well presented with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub and swim spa were amazing the kids spent many hours enjoying both. It in a lovely location with a gorgeous sea view from the garden. The only negative we found was the upstairs flooring was very creeky and noisy, so if anyone got up in the night it tended to wake up others. But other than that we had a fantastic stay.

We had a great time and it is a shame to leave the sunshine, waves and beaches. I particularly liked the fine details of the house. We bought some charcoal, huge bag and left the rest for you guys. A beautiful setting, many luxury's, loved the hot tubs, Thank you!!! xxx

What a fabulous place to have your honeymoon. Lovely house, loved the hot tub and spa pool. Great location, Sky wasn't working when we got here - turned out to just be loose connections. Will definitely return with friends and family and hope to return later in the year

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house was fantastic and in a great location. We all had a great time on the nearby Fistral Beach, as well as further up the coast. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here - a great holiday.

This was a lovely property to stay in.home from home with everything that you would need for a big family. I stayed there with my husband, 3 kids and parents and there was plenty of room for us all and the garden was great for small children. Hot tub was great for relaxing in after an exhausting day at the beach. Stairgate was broken on arrival but the manager was there asap to fix it. Look out for Charles the cat ! He likes to make himself at home.

Family holiday to Newquay

We are a family of 7 adults and one baby and really enjoyed our stay in Newquay for our first UK summer holiday for 20 years! The booking was easy with Blue Chip and the house was amazing! We were lucky to have a hot tub and spa pool which was lovely to go in when lounging around the beautiful garden! The house was spacious and decorated beautifully! The rooms were lovely with one down side that was lacking wardrobe space. The house was equipped with everything plus more for our stay. The house is situated in a quiet area close to the beach but a steep walk, being 7 months pregnant it was tricky but an accomplishment! A short walk/drive to the centre of town was good too! All adults and baby enjoyed our stay and would love to return at another point in the future! Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Beautiful and relaxing

What a fantastic place! 7 of us stayed for a week in October, we did get good weather. This helped in the fact that we were able to use the swim spa and hot tub every day. These were fantastic for both the kids and adults. The house itself is lovely, and very warm. The floor boards were a bit squeaky but everything else was perfect. The beds were really good and we all slept well after chilling out in the day. Keep up the good work and we are looking into booking next year already!

Fab time

Stayed here for a week in June. Safe to say the weather wasn't the best but the orangery was an absolute life saver. We lived in it for the week!! Excellent facilities, beautiful interiors, lovely gardens (shame the grass hadn't been cut though). It's true the upstairs floor boards do creak excessively but not a problem for me as always take ear plugs and we all slept very well. The orangery wasn't quite finished but I'm sure once if is it will be even more stunning. Would be good to have a small table and chairs in there for meals but overall a beautiful property in excellent location.
