It’s all happening at Newquay Zoo this half term, as the attraction celebrates the launch of Amazing Asia 2016 in style. Every child to visit during half term week will receive an activity booklet so they can follow the trail as they make their way around, and the keepers will be doing special talks throughout the week too.
And then there’s the chance to get creative with the peacock art sessions. Kids will have the chance to design their very own peacock feather, which will be proudly displayed to the world on the interactive display inside the Volunteers Pavilion.
Every day at 2pm visitors will have the chance to find out all about the red pandas that call the zoo home at the daily red panda talks, and over in the barn you’ll find paper plate animal making and origami workshops all week – the perfect way to keep the little ones entertained during your day in Newquay.
What’s half term without the chance for the kids to look just like their favourite animals? Well, thanks to the face painters you’ll find on hand throughout the week you’ll be leaving the zoo with your very own little monkeys (tigers, elephants…whatever they fancy being!).
