Fab Holiday

We've had an amazing week at this place! You can't ask for a better location or accommodation! We go away at least twice a year and this place is up there in the top 3 places we've stayed. The layout and facilities within the apartment is great. There's a huge fridge freezer which is really handy especially as most places just have a small fridge with a small freezer box within. There's also a washer/dryer... again a bonus. The kitchen is spotless apart from this easily fixed problem. With 2 bathrooms, everyone was happy at not having to wait! And don't get me started on the showers! I'd stay in there all day if you let me! There are a few other little things though eg the apartment above us was empty until the last night of our stay and footsteps at night woke my kids who were a little scared at hearing them. Can't be helped I know. The windows in the bedrooms don't open and while this made the rooms secure, they did get a bit hot at night, especially in the kids bedrooms. Maybe if we'd asked for a fan, we'd gotten one from the very helpful owner who kindly popped in to say hello. It was a pleasant gesture which we appreciated. I'd recommend this place to everyone! And just so that you know, the pictures on the internet does not do it justice!

1 Seashore

I'd highly recommend this property. Stylish and luxurious, yet cosy and homely. Amazing location - it took us less than a minute to get our toddler (even in her pram) to the beach. There seemed to be so many great days out only a few miles away too - they were practically 'just around the corner'. Perfect for children - there wasn't any journey time to ask 'Are we there yet?'!! Brilliant!

Beautiful weekend

Beautiful weekend, lovely walk to iron-age settlement on the other side of the beach. Ate good food in Mermaid BBQ. Surfing at King Surf School, Mawgan Porth – awesome!! Food (excellent) and ten pin bowling at Porth Hotel just up the road. Adventure Quarry today – fantastic day out.

1st visit to this lovely apartment

1st visit to this lovely apartment and it’s fab. Really cosy and warm to come home to after a windy walk on the beach. Great location for family with kids covered in sand. Café downstairs is nice and pub over the beach, Mermaid is fantastic. Wish we were staying longer but will definitely return next year. Thank you.

The whole family had a fantastic week

The whole family had a fantastic week, the apartment was perfect, situated brilliantly. We didn’t use the car all week! A great view from Pizza Express in Newquay (15 minutes walk). Lusty Glaze beach is fantastic for body boarding. Good pub food across the beach in The Mermaid. We had an amazing week, we hope to come back again. WE LOVED IT!

Superb accommodation

Superb accommodation and very well kept. We made full use of the close proximity to the beach. St. Agnes is well worth a trip (many restaurants and a gorgeous secluded beach). Adrenalin Quarry is expensive but still well worth a trip. Flambards has some good rides and also the Victorian village there is interesting. Be sure to check out Pizza Express but be warned they get very busy. Newquay centre wasn’t to our taste (quite run down and not at all like the charm offered by more traditional towns such as St. Ives or St. Agnes). Great holiday, many thanks. Great accommodation, v.clean! Loved it!

Another great week

Another great week - passed all too fast. Excellent fishing with adventurous and crew – highly recommend walk across Whipsiderry Beach absolutely beautiful as was Bedruthan Steps. Good surfing/body boarding at Mawgan Porth. Also best place to buy good wetsuits at reasonable price. King Surf School is “awesome”. Great omelette at Café Coaste, food at The Mermaid is pretty good. Thanks again. See you next year

Lovely apartment right on the Porth (Cornwall) beach

Lovely apartment with a great view and lovely walks close by. Apartment was very well equipped, modern with very good facilities, hairdryer, iron and board, washing machine and dishwasher. Just a couple of issues these being the cleanliness of the cooking utensils (cups could do with being bleached, oven tray was burnt, some mould in the grout of the en-suite shower and the carpet throughout could do with a clean, we would still recommend though and would definitely go back there to stay again.
