Rock Pool is one of those quirky little cafes that can make a good holiday a great one. With a quirky vintage theme and stylish décor throughout, the café perches above Mousehole’s rock pool and serves all the traditional classics with a laidback seaside feel. Sit outside and look out to sea while you indulge in a cream tea, and if there’s a shower while you’re there don’t worry, you can nip out to the bright blue summerhouse and still enjoy the feeling of dining al fresco.
It’s the attention to detail that makes Rock Pool special, from the name of the café appearing in chocolate sprinkles on the coffees to quaint little tongs that come with the sugar cubes. All drinks are served up in china cups, and the retro teapots take visitors back to the days when tea was a special event in the day! Rock Pool is a little of the beaten track so you’ll need to look out for it on your first visit, but it’s one of those that’s so special that once you’ve discovered it you’ll make time to pop in again and again.
