With its quaint fishing harbour and whitewashed cottages there’s only one thing that’s a must during a stay in the village of Mousehole – and that’s a traditional Cornish pasty. Jessie’s Dairy serves up cream teas, pasties and other snacks and there’s a prettly little garden for those of you who like to sit outside. We have it on good authority that the pasties are always well-filled and the portions are generous, so this is a popular place for a stop off when you’ve a hankering for a snack.
Dogs are welcome, and the café has something of a reputation as a little gem, so make sure you pop in while you’re in the area. If you’re going to walk a section of the South West Coast Oath or just spend some time on the little harbour beach Jessie’s is the perfect spot for a pit stop before you get on with your day, and there are gluten-free options for those with special dietary requirements too (well we can’t have people visiting Cornwall without the chance to try a pasty or a scone can we?!).
