The Fowey to Mevagissey passenger ferry is a Mevagissey family attraction in its own right, and the service runs between May and October. The journey takes just over half an hour, and one of the highlights is a view of the Lost Gardens of Heligan from the water! Those who keep their eyes peeled may also catch sight of George the dolphin, basking sharks, gannets or even a warship!
Fowey is one of the prettiest towns in Cornwall and has plenty to explore once you’re there. A beautiful sandy beach, lots of quaint shops and impressive eateries await you when you step off the ferry. Dogs are welcome aboard the ferry.
