Fab holiday location

Given the weather that Cornwall had experienced in the run up to our holiday last week we were pleasantly surprised at the week that we had in Mawgan Porth for Feb 2014 Half Term. The property at Beach View was well equipped for the three of us as (husband, myself & our three year old)! We took our little one's camp bed and she slept happily at the foot of our bed for the week and there was plenty of room to move around. Beach View was lovely and warm and toasty, no complaints. The view of the beach is a little limited from the house but the noise of the sea at night was very soothing after a busy day visiting different parts of the county. We used this as our base and visited Padstow three time during our stay, we also drove down to St Ives and had a day in Truro. The kitchen and bathroom are lovely the property was very clean and tidy on arrival and the benefit of a washing machine with a small child who loves exploring the beach is always a massive plus. Only down side as the lounge furniture was just not very comfortable which when you want to sit in the evening and watch film or read is very frustrating!!

Beach View

What a lovely place to stay. The apartment was fully equipped with brand new equipment including washing machine, dishwasher etc. The sea view was beautiful and could of sat and looked at it all day. Sarah was on hand at all times and we will definitely be booking for next year.

A beautiful and peaceful area with the beach just a few minutes walk away along with some fantastic coastal walks. Great for just relaxing or visiting nearby villages. Fantastic Owners who are there if you need them.

Beach View

We had a relaxing week at Beach View. Great location with only a short walk to Mawgan Porth beach - no need to pack up the car everyday. Fantastic place to go surfing/body boarding. Quiet location with superb views overlooking the beach. Great place to explore other parts on the north Cornwall coastline. The property had everything required, very clean and the owners were really friendly and accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to book again - just wished we lived there!

Beach View

Having stayed in many holiday cottages it was FAB to stay in one which was so well decorated and looked more like our living room than someone elses. From the fresh flowers on arrival to the warm welcome we received from Sarah we thoroughly enjoyed our week away. As a busy working couple it was lovely to be in such a quiet place with no internet access so we could actually concentrate on spending uninterrupted quality time with each other whilst still having all the mod cons and creature comforts we would expect at home! Although the view from my living room window is not as spectacular or as calming. I highly recommend this cottage to any couple looking for some quality get away time together.

Beach View

This was our first time in Mawgan Porth, but not in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation, it was ideal for the activities my family enjoy to do i.e surfing and body boarding. We had a lovely view and it was a very peaceful location. We would definitely go there again. Overall a thoroughly good holiday despite the weather.

Great for:

Long weekend!

Arrangements were impeccable and the property was perfectly presented, clean and welcoming and Sarah made it really easy for us after a 6 hour drive! It's the second time we have stayed at Beach View and as before, it was perfect. It was short, beach break for myself and my teenage daughter, and we spent most of our time in the surf. The proximity to the beach made it easy to exploit the time we had, with warm showers available within 10 mins from the surf......Perfect! Being able to barbecue is a plus and we will definitely be back soon. We had a great time......Thank You!

Beach View

Wonderful spot walking distance to the Beach. Perfect for a family of three my daughter who is nine found the sofa bed very comfy. Also very clean and everything you need I would defiantly recommend. There was only one thing - comfy lounger chairs and nice table would be perfect for outside as the view was simply stunning.
