Description

Atlantic Cottage in West Cornwall, is just a few miles from either coast, sandwiched between the gorgeous seaside towns of St. Ives on the Atlantic coast and Marazion to the South. With a bright and open plan living area, this one bedroom cottage is modern and furnished to a high standard, and its set within the grounds of a beautiful country manor house.

If you’re content to sit back with a novel and enjoy the peace and quiet, the table and chairs in the courtyard make it easy to enjoy soaking up the sun in style. Or, when it’s time to explore the rest of the grounds, you’re welcome to wander the one and a half acre gardens that surround the manor.

The bedroom has been lavishly furnished with a hand carved, solid wood super king bed which will recharge weary heads, whilst the Jacuzzi bath will energise tired muscles after a day treading the many coastal and countryside walks in the quaint surroundings.

The historic attractions at Lands End are 15 miles to the east, and with the stunning island of St. Michaels Mount also just a short drive away, there is no shortage of natural wonder to be had.

Marazion could have been made for those of you who appreciate hearty, unpretentious pub food along with a good pint of cast marque ale, and if you fancy all that in a warm and welcoming environment than look no further...
Marazion is a hidden gem of a beach in Penzance, as in spite of its large expanse of sand and great facilities it rarely draws large crowds. Just 3 miles from Penzance, the beach is in the village of Marazion...
St Ives Farmers Market is held every Thursday at The Guildhall, and it’s just the place to stock up on fresh, local produce during a holiday nearby. This is the place to come for local produce, seasonal food, homemade cakes...

'Lovely Cottage'

'Lovely cottage, especially the big bath for a relaxing soak after a busy day! The cottage is in just the right place for peace and quiet but to explore all around. Lovely fish meal in St Ives and Porthleven.'

'Beautifully decorated and comfortable'

'Thanks to Kevin & Marie for making the cottage so lovely to be in. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Went to a matinee performance of 'The Ladykillers' at the Minack which was incredible. Hard to know whether to watch the play or admire the views. Rick Steins in Porthleven was lovely food and atmosphere. 57 Fore St. in St. Ives also excellent … ask for table 25 when booking for the best views of St Ives.'

Lovely Cottage - 1st Class Accommodation!!

Lovely Cottage - 1st Class Accommodation!! A great base for exploring Cornwall & very nice to come back to after a long day - especially the comfy bed and jacuzzi bath. Too many places/sights to recommend but a visit to the Minack Theatre is a must - spectacular! Many thanks for the warm welcome, we hope to return again in the future.

Our stay at Atlantic Cottage

We were absolutely pleased with the environment, location and outstanding condition of the cottage. Everything was clean and in great condition. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again. We greatly enjoyed the location because it was quiet. The cottage is situated with easy access to rail connections, grocery shopping and served us well in our explorations of S. Cornwall. If you are looking for clean, quality comfort in the Cornwall area consider this one of the prime places to stay.

Atlantic Cottage

A fantastic cottage located in a beautiful rural area near Penzance. The owners were very welcoming and made our stay more than comfortable. Facilities and home comforts exceeded expectations and the little touches made our stay really special. Not only would I recommend the cottage to friends but I would brave the 6 hour drive in a heartbeat to relive the experience! Thank you to K and N x

Atlantic cottage, Marazion

This is a perfect cottage in a fabulous location. Very close to everything West Cornwall has to offer whilst being in a quiet country location. The cottage itself far exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend it - or the sister cottage 'Dune'. The hosts, Kevin and Marie gave us some great recommendations of things in the area.

Great for:

Atlantic Cottage was simply lovely. It was very comfortable. The location offered privacy but was nearby to attractions. You definitely need a car, and it will be better when a sign is placed at the gate! The owners were very friendly and welcoming. It would have been a tad more convenient with the option of secured online payment and communication for international customers.

Relaxing Holiday

Decor lovely and very clean; bed huge and very comfortable; bath huge and jacuzzi great; sofa huge and comfortable; good range of TV channels, WiFi and DVD included; kitchen equipment all there. Only things missing was a dishwasher and washer/dryer (not for full on washing but good to wash towels). Great location close to St Ives, Penzance, Lands end, St Michael's Mount and Marazion. St Erth train station ten minutes up road and can catch train to Penzance, Carbis Bay and St Ives. Lovely beach at Marazion overlooking the Mount, great milkshakes in Godolphin Hotel. Highly recommend.

Cosy cottage

This cosy cottage was just lovely. It was ideally situated for exploring the lovely area that is typically Cornwall. The cottage was very well equipped and very clean and all furnishings were of a very high quality.
