Hannafore Beach is a favourite beach in Looe with rock poolers, and can be found from Hannafore Point on Marine Drive. Although this beach is rocky, with shingle rather than sand, there are fantastic rock pools twice daily when the tide goes out! Whether you have children keen to poke about in the pools with their buckets and nets, or an interest in the sealife visible in almost every pool, this is the place to enjoy them.
There is sand to be found at low tide, and if you prefer a quiet spot over silky sands then Hannafore Beach acts as a pretty good suntrap for bathers. It’s also the best beach in Looe for a view of Looe Island.
