Rushton lakes

I arrived at Rushton lakes shortly after 9 and collected key from my lodge after a lovely telephone call from a lady, I didn't catch her name, she gave me fab instructions and was extremely helpful. The property was astounding, I was in awe at the care and detail of the interior of the lodge, I've never stayed anywhere that was exactly as advertised, it was gleaming and even had a pint of proper milk and tea/coffee for your arrival X The four poster bed was excellent, I had a lovely sleep in it that night, the bath big enough for two was gorgeous although you can't use the shower at the same time as running the bath! But as there was a second bathroom that didn't matter!

Fabulous retreat in Cornwall

We booked Stonerush Lakes and stayed in number 6 Lakeview. The overall quality of the lodge was excellent, furnishings were comfortable and we benefitted from a stunning freestanding bath in bedroom along with outside hot tub. The lodge had fridge, freezer washer & dishwasher. The open plan design was perfect for us and the balcony was stunning - perfect for a glass or two! The only negatives we found were the access roads were very narrow and muddy due to local farming. Nearest coast resort was Looe (7miles). Overall we had a lovely week away from it all for our anniversary.

November 2015

Before my first holiday at Stonerush lakes in 2014 I read a couple bad reviews... but took the chance at visiting anyway due to the amazing photos of the site... and i wasnt disappointed the bad reviews that I had read was about building work going on in 2013 early 2014... but its a new site which is being constantly upgraded... of course you will see the odd bit of work happening... on this visit in 2015 they were building some new lodges in the tree tops area... but I never heard a thing and I was quite close. They done very well at hiding the fact building work was going on and the builders were very considerate when driving around site. The views are absolutly gorgeous and relaxing, I am even considering buying a plot... big thumbs up all around from booking to the drive home. Thank you very much see you next year

Blissful Stonerush

Returned to Stonerush in 2016 after a wonderful Holliday last year in February. Decided to try a different lodge for a change no other reason as were impressed last year when we were on the lake. This year I chose 6 Lakeview and what a great choice that was. Scenery was different as we were slightly higher in the valley. Wild life still wonderful and lots of birds fed on our balcony. As ever lodge immaculate just like you are the first people to step inside. Facilities great and we enjoyed cooking and spending evenings in enjoying the hot tub and down time from our normal life. Slept peacefully in comfortable bed, so peaceful only woken one night by an owl hooting in the woodland! We had some stormy weather at the beginning of our holiday which resulted in some very wet clothes, although we had a washing machine we did not have any drying facility(no tumble dryer). However staff on site did offer facility in another lodge for us. Overall wonderful, we love the venue and will return

Stonerush Lakes - highly recommended!

If you are looking for complete relaxation in a very high standard lodge this is for you. Couldn't fault the lodge at all and the hot tub was a lovely added luxury. This is a great place to use as a base to explore Cornwall and then return on an evening to relax in the hot tub with beautiful views.
