W4 Watersedge Stonerush Lakes

Please just book this lodge, I cannot recommend it highly enough. It really is a wonderful setting, for the Anglers out there it really is paradise. We were throwing a small piece of bread in the lake and dozens of carp were fighting over it, some a big size. The lodge itself has everything, washing machine, dishwasher, pots, pans, I mean everything. 10 minutes away you are in Polperro and Looe, or a hour and you are at St Michaels mount.

Had an amazing time!

I was a bit sceptical booking through Blue Chip Holidays as I hadn't heard of them before but I'm glad I did. The booking was easy and the customer support was fabulous. As for where we stayed it was brilliant, we had such a good time. We brought our dog with us and I think she had a good time too. We've stayed in quite a few of these lodges and this one was definitely one of the best I'd recommend the place to anyone. Ps. Don't be put off by the lack of reviews, we nearly were and are so glad we didn't let it put us off.

SOOO RELAXING

We wanted relaxation rest, nice food, nice views we got it by the bucket load, plenty of lovely days out in easy reach, an abundance of good places to eat, plenty of fresh shellfish in the seaside towns, we loved relaxing in the private hot tub, loved watching and feeding the fish (very surprised you did not sell fish food!) views from our decking were lovely, the lodge was very comfy and well equipped, all the staff we met were very nice, only one TINY disappointment the food on site was very unmemorable, ok but lacking the wow factor of some of the close by restaurants and pubs.

A perfect location

We stayed with our dog for 4 days at the lodge right on the lake, it was such a perfect location seeing the fish and wildlife it was so peaceful even the weather was on our side sunny every day. The lodge was very comfortable and very nice inside. The wifi was good too. Was lovely sitting outside on the decking would of been nice to have a couple of comfy chairs. Loved the hot tub very relaxing . Will be returning again loved it there.

Returning customer

I have always found this company very easy to deal with and feel part of a family with the welcome you get from all departments. I think that Stonerush lake is the jewel in the crown but will willingly try all the rest. The welcome pack on arrival this Christmas was a lovely gesture as was the Christmas tree. Many thanks until next time.

Shame 'blue chip' couldn't organise the weather

What a wonderful place to chill and relax. Even before you arrive you are kept up to date, on what you needed to bring with you, the directions you need to take and what to do on arrival. Once you arrive you are met with the most friendliest of staff, they even made a fuss of my dog. They couldn't be more helpful or friendly if they tried, they explained everything. We stayed only 3 nights (work getting in the way!) and ate at the onsite restaurant for two of the nights. The food is top notch. The service couldn't be faulted, friendly, efficient but at the same time making you feel relaxed and not rushed, even when we were stopping them locking up and going home, sorry ladies :) The cabin itself had everything you could need to make you feel you were home from home (no mobile signal, bliss). They are cleverly positioned, that you feel very private even, going to and from the hot tub. With stunning views of the lake and the wildlife going about its business we couldn't get enough, wished we were staying longer. Even though it was raining when we arrived and still raining when we left, the footpaths were all usable and didn't turn to mud. Walking around the site with the dog, back and forth to the restaurant etc. was an easy walk and a very pleasant one. Love to come again Colin

Amazing place, couldn't fault anything. We were relaxed from the first day. Restaurant is a must if staying, food was excellent and real value for money. Very quiet and private. So good we have already booked to return.

Lovely relaxing break away

We really enjoyed our stay at 4 Watersedge. The lodge is lovely, nicely furnished and really cosy. Situated right on the edge of the lake, our children loved feeding the ducks from the decking and we loved looking out across it while relaxing in the hot tub. We have visited Stonerush before so knew the area and had visited all the nearby places, so this time packed lots of yummy food, wine and just stayed in watching films and enjoying the hot tub for our entire stay - bliss! Would definitely recommend Stonerush Lakes and Bluechip holidays. I would also like to mention the outstanding customer service we received from Natalie at Bluechip, it was very much appreciated.

Fantastic holiday

We had the best honeymoon we could have ever wished for. Excellent location. So relaxing with all the wildlife waiting at your door every morning. Tranquility at its finest. We took our 2 dogs with us who settled in right away. We have only been back a few days and are already planning our next holiday back to the same lodge this year. I highly recommend stone rush lakes as a relaxing luxury holiday. Martin whitter
