A Perfect getaway!

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Comfortable with stunning views, if all you wanted to do was stay in the cabin it would be possible and would be a great relaxing break. The locations is in the middle of several villages that you can explore, all with beautiful views and walks. I will definitely recommend Stonerush and I intend on coming back later this year. It would be nice if it was possible to connect to Netflix for watching films at night but this is no essential and doesn't not take away from how fantastic the stay was. Thank you.

Stonerush Lakes Cornwall

We had a wonderful weekend break for our 6th wedding anniversary at Stonerush Lakes, in Cornwall. The lodge is lovely, and the hot tub, was way beyond our expectations. The lodge was clean and well equipped. Everything we needed for our weekend stay. The staff at Stonerush were very welcoming and gave us great assistance, we definitely will be going back. Blue Chip Holidays were easy to book with and we experienced no problems. Thank you!

Paradise in Conrwall

We spent quite a few weeks looking around the internet for a "log Cabin with hot tub" in the woods and came across Stonerush Valley. I rang up and spoke to someone who was really really helpful and she booked us into S3. I was not sure sure what it was but trusted her. On the day of arrival we decided to travel via Looe so when we came up towards Stonerush we took a wrong turn and after a mile the road became so narrow you could not stop and open the car doors, the road turned to grass and then into a dirt track, we then either had to try to find some way to turning round, or reverse a very long way or just stick with the very steep dirt track. Luckily we have 4 wheel drive on the YETI so we kept going on. Eventually we came to a small junction to see the entrance to Stonerush. We made it. So if you take a wrong turn it's best to turn around if you don't have a 4x4 LOL We arrived at reception to be met by Jackie who I could describe as the most pleasant lady in Cornwall. She was happy, bubbly and enthusiastic about Stone Rush. We checked in and she gave us a goodies bag of sweets, balloon and a pumpkin to carve (It was Halloween night the next day). She showed us to S3 and it was a gorgeous sight, we unpacked the car and went down the steps to this wonderful cabin in the woods. There was a big stream that runs under the large decking making the most pleasant bubbling sounds. We open the door to see a really luxurious interior and we LOVED it straight away. We have never been anywhere before when we have been left speechless. We then proceeded to have the best 4 days holiday break ever were everything was perfect from feeling great the moment you wake up to the moment you eyes close and you fall asleep. Of all the breaks we have had over the last 30 years we have never wanted to go back to the same place twice but Stonerush was very different. We will be coming back here to S3 many more times.

3 Stonerush Valley - Cornwall, Lanreath

What a lovely get away break!! I took my partner here for his 21st birthday and he enjoyed it as much as I did. The location is perfect for a relaxing and quite place to stay, surrounded by trees, wildlife and the sound of the trickling stream...so lovely!! And the private hottub was just a dream!! was a perfect way to end a lovely day! The reception staff are lovely, make you feel welcomed and leave you to enjoy your holiday! Definitely recommend this lodge! Just one thing!! Do not rely on your sat nav, it takes you a complete different way than it should do, we ended up in a lady's farm and she pointed us in an opposite direction which did finally get us there. Just try to stick to main roads! We got lost in so many lanes!! Ha! Overall it was a brilliant get away!! No complaints about the lodge or area at all :)

Excellent stay in what felt like your own forest.....

We have just returned from a week at Stonerush Lakes in Cornwall. It was fantastic! The lodge was of superb standard and the icing on the cake was our very own hot tub available 24/7. The lodge was located in what felt like your own part of the forest. From arrival at reception nothing was too much trouble. I liked that you had a property manager that you could contact if you needed anything during your stay. Well worth our 6 hour drive....I'm already planning our next visit.....

Couldn't ask for a better place!

Having booked a similar lodge our expectations were high, well I can definitely say our expectations were met! After a lengthy drive through many, MANY narrow roads, we arrived at Stonerush Lakes, laid out in a small but perfectly designed area. Once we collected the lodge information from the Old Mill we found our lodge and was stunned by it's location, hidden underneath a plentiful amount of trees, overlooking a stream. To awake to the sound of the babbling brook beneath us was second to none, to also have echo behind the sound of the hot tub which was located underneath a large oak tree. With a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine/dryer the kitchen was large, clean and very well laid out with multiples of everything from champagne flutes to casserole dishes! The lounge/diner was easily big enough for 6 but luckily there was only 2 of us and with a large LCD TV and some DVDs already provided there was always a way to relax, even if you wanted the TV off with the main rear doors open listening to the stream, you couldn't go wrong. The master bedroom had an en suite, 4 poster bed and small flat screen on the wall and not forgetting the small sky light which helped us wake in a very pleasing, natural manner. Just outside the bedroom was another bathroom, with an overhead shower, as spotless as the rest of the entire building. I could ramble on for plenty more paragraphs but it wouldn't do justice, get yourself booked in!

Efficient Service

Found blue chip by a search engine, who called me back the same day to arrange booking and explained how everything would work..i.e. payment etc. Any email communication I sent was answered promptly. The website was informative and easy to use, which is a plus, nobody wants to click on numerous links to get answers. I would recommend blue chip to friends and relatives and use them again myself.
