Located on an idyllic stretch of the Cornish Riviera, Duporth is located just minutes from the picturesque harbour village of Charlestown. With fine sands, safe waters and a steep cliff backdrop the private beach can only be accessed by foot providing the ideal getaway along a stunning stretch of coastline.

Taking its name from the Cornish for “Love Sea,” Kara Mor is a contemporary three bedroom property, with views towards the sea, situated on the Two Coves development. Formerly the Duporth Holiday Village, the site boasts a collection of newly built properties, surrounded by established trees and shrubs, to create a natural ambiance. Kara Mor, Duporth Bay

We have recently enjoyed 11 nights at Kara Mor (myself, husband, two children 12 and 1). This is a very well-equipped property, a real home from home and also very clean. It is on a quiet newly built residential development within walking distance of Duporth Bay; although building work is still underway we were not disturbed by it at all. It is within walking distance of the picturesque harbour of Charlestown and easy driving distance of other beaches and attractions such as The Eden Project.

Kara Mor, Duporth Bay

Although this is a modern house on a modern development , it is in a wonderful location and the property has character. Duporth beach is very quiet and secluded and the house has private access through an ancient wood, it takes only five minutes to walk to the beach. The house is very well equipped. It is close to Charlestown and only a few miles from the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project. There is some building work going on in the development but it did not trouble us at all. Indeed it is very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Kara Mor, Duporth Bay

Despite the wet weather we've had a lovely week and the house was warm and welcoming to return to each evening. The Cornish name is very similar to the Welsh-Cara Mor-and we can see exactly why you love it.-many thanks.

Kara Mor, Duporth Bay

We really enjoyed our week at this lovely house, which was almost home from home. It was well equipped and lovely and clean and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was a drawer full of DVD's in the lounge as well as a bookcase full.

Kara Mor, Duporth Bay

The accommodation was modern, clean and very comfortable - they had thought of everything. The house was very tastefully furnished and the Wi-Fi was an added bonus when travelling with 2 children! The location was perfect with amenities close by and easy road links for days out. The private beach at Duporth was very special. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and immaculate property

This property is in excellent condition and has immaculately maintained furnishings. It was very easy to get in and the contact for any problems / questions was really helpful. The private beach is rocky at the waters edge which wasn't ideal for small children but when the tide was in it was better. It is also quite a steep walk down to the beach (or should I say on the way back!) A bit tricky with a baby in a buggy. The property is in a great location for other towns and beaches like Charlestown, Mevagissey and Fowey. Overall the property is excellent.

This is a fabulous base

We have had such a wonderful week here. Duporth Beach is amazing. Walk to Porthdean it’s not far. Charlestown is also a very short walk, even with small children. Cannot recommend Port Isaac, Polzeath and Padstow enough. This is a fabulous base, well cared for in a central location. We’ll be back!
