Description

My View is a large detached house perched above the beach in the tranquil village of Cawsand. The property benefits from some of the most stunning views in the South West. It has three balconies, (one large balcony accessed from the kitchen and swimming pool, one accessed from the living area and one from the dining area), where you can sit out and enjoy the amazing views across the beach, Plymouth Sound and out to sea.

No expense has been spared on the decoration and furnishing of this fantastic five star holiday house.  The property boasts an indoor pool and spa, sauna, pool table, remote controlled lighting and central heating system, entertainment systems and it even has flatscreen TVs in more bathrooms than you could ever need!

Situated on the Rame Peninsula, the historic villages of Kingsand and Cawsand offer a haven of peace and tranquility. Relax on the beach or in one of the village pubs or cafes or take a stroll through the narrow streets of colour washed cottages and shops.

Swimming, fishing, windsurfing and water skiing are all available on the beaches, alternatively, you can follow the coast path through the village and the Mount Edgcumbe estate to Cremyll. In the other direction the coast path takes you round the headland to the glorious sandy beach of Whitsand Bay.

From Cawsand, and just a few minutes walk from the property, you can take a passenger ferry across to the city of Plymouth which offers an abundance of high street and independent shops, restaurants, cafes, bars, theatres and attractions to suit everyone. The Barbican and Hoe are steeped in history and are definitely worth a visit.

If you're feeling energetic then Looe and Polperro are a mere half an hour away, with Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor only a 45 minute drive away.

This property especially welcomes families.  A cot and highchair are provided for younger guests plus there are books and toys included.

My View

Excellent venue to accomodate all the family. Good base for other parts of Devon & Cornwall. Shops close by. Ferry to Plymouth from beach below. Very good Pubs and Restaurants in area. WOW !!!!!!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at My View , Cawsands On arrival we were met by a very helpful gentleman called Nigel , he gave us a conducted tour of the property and was extremely enthusiastic about it .He even left us milk for a cuppa whilst we awaited the supermarket delivery . My View is amazing , the photos on the website although accurate do not do full justice to the sheer size of the property and the general spaciousness of individual rooms all of which are well furnished . It is very well designed , all the bedrooms and living areas look out to sea , some of which have balconies .There are numerous shower /bathrooms . We were blessed with good weather for most of our stay but would have been happy to spend all our time in the property , enjoying the view across Plymouth Sound and using the facilities including the heated indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi . Cawsands itself is a charming and picturesque village ,within easy walking distance , offering several pubs, shops and a foot passenger ferry to Plymouth. The property arranged over several levels involves a far bit of stair climbing and this could be a disadvantage to anyone physically challenged . We can't wait to go back one day soon , although we did not fill the property to full capacity , we think it's value for money given the position and facilities .

Great location and house faclities

The facilities in My View are truely excellent. En suite bedrooms, good dining space, and then pool, sauna, jacousy, games room. Most of all the house overlooks the beach at Cawsands, which is no more than a few meters away, safe for our grandchildren to play, in sight, but on their own! The house is on the coastal path, so walking in either direction is easy. A great holiday, glad we found My View.

My View is just an outstanding property with its magnificent views over Plymouth Sound. The Grandchildren also took full advantage of the indoor pool. All I can say is thank you to the owners of My View for giving us the oppertunity to stay there.

Fantastic Holiday for all the family

We were a family party getting together to celebrate my 70th birthday. The family includes; 5 boys aged between 1 - 16, three couples ages from 34 - 50. And me. To say we all found something very special about My View would not be exaggerating, The house, location, and facilities are first class. Swimming Pool , Beach and rock pooling for the young ones, 14 + TV's and a pool table for the teens. Sauna, Jacuzzi private bathrooms and constant hot water for the rest of us. The kitchen and laundry have everything that you could wish for, we even managed to get to use the BBQ. A holiday we will always remember, many happy memories we will be back. Thank you all involved with My View we loved everything including the puzzles and books. Definitely Worth Five gold stars.

My View

A most amazing house, exactly as the photos on the Blue Chip website show. The house is ideally situated, right on the beach. The owners provide everything you could possibly want, which includes things like dishwasher tablets, detergents, soaps - which normally don't get provided in holiday homes. There are so many flat screen TV's - even in the bathrooms - that I didn't count them! If the weather is poor (which it was in the main), there is the pool, jacuzzi and sauna to fall back on. The pool is lovely and warm too! Fabulous place though, great holiday.

My View

Having just returned (reluctantly!) from a wonderful holiday in Cawsand staying at the spectacular and very special property "My View", I feel that I must let you know how much everyone in our party has enjoyed it. We are aged between 71 and 7, and there was something for everyone. We managed to use every part of the house and we felt at home straight away. The pool area was used every day by the children and at various times by every adult. The views are breathtaking from all the house and we were lucky enough to have good weather so we had several BBQs, which were a memory to treasure. G+Ts out on the balcony with the moon playing on the water are something else that will remain with us for years to come. This property truly is worthy of its 5 star rating. We will certainly consider staying in it again. Well done Blue Chip and thank you!!

My View

This was the loveliest holiday time ever spent in Cornwall/Devon and we have visited many places over the years, we will never forget 'My View' for it allowing us to have the best view looking out to sea in Cawsand. Plus everything you needed & more.

My View

Amazing property. We were all lost for words when we arrived. So much better than the pictures. 4 adults and 5 children and we still had loads of space, it was always, 'where are the kids?' The pool was lots of fun and the village was gorgeous. 10/10

My View

My View , Cawsand and Kingsand was a fabulous experience, never heard of any of these places until we searched for a house to celebrate a Birthday. Ages ranged from 10 to 60 and all fell in love with the place. Would love to spend another week or even a long.

My View

We have just returned from a week in My View. We have been holidaying in Cornwall properties for several years and this has to be one of the best. There were seven of us but the house is so big we all had space. The pool & jacuzzi are a fantastic feature, with the doors open you can relax and admire the view. An evening on the terrace watching the boats come and go was idyllic.

The holiday was chosen as a celebration of our ruby wedding and we wanted to share it with our sons and their young families as an opportunity to remember our special day. The whole experience lived up to the high recommendation we had been given of this property, and the village of Cawsand was as my son put it "a location that time has thankfully allowed to remain original." It is idyllic. The property is managed by a team, who when required, are attentive and only wish for the customer to enjoy the property to its full potential which I believe we did. We hope we can visit again next year.

That Wonderful Unforgettable View!!

We were all looking forward to returning to the one holiday destination that none of us could forget, and My View seemed to welcome us with open arms. From the moment that we walked through the door we all felt as if we had come home! Everyone went straight through to the garden to see the best view in The West. The house itself is a joy to stay in and when we went out everyone was glad to get back home to it. The pool was well used by everyone, especially the two children, and the games room was the hub of much friendly competition! For the older ones in our party the red lounge was a lovely place to relax, and the children were well catered for with their own cream lounge. The kitchen is wonderful to work in as well with that spectacular view right outside the window. All in all a fabulous holiday was had by all. (Cawsand needs a mention as well, as it is the village that everyone dreams of staying in).

Wonderful Holiday - 'My View Cawsand'

I don't think you could get a more idyllic setting than the views of Cawsand, and the Plymouth 'Sound' from the villa, wonderful holiday and great place to stay. The location was perfect and the facilities in the villa were fantastic for older children. There were plenty of coastal walks and fabulous places to eat and drink within easy walking distance.
