Description

Set on the East Thorne glamping resort, Joffrey has all the charm of a traditional family yurt with special touches throughout. The perfect setting for a family break that’s all about reconnecting with nature and recharging, the yurt’s integrated living space has everything you need. The log burner adds a cosy touch to the space, and the bean bags and futons make just the spot to unwind as a family after a busy day on the beach.

Even cooking the dinner’s an adventure, as you’ll find your very own undercover kitchen on your decking, and the Webber barbeque means plenty of opportunity to get the sausages sizzling. The site also has a communal wood-fired clay oven, and the shared dining space makes it easy to break the ice and make new friends during your stay.

The site’s been designed with families firmly in mind, and the facilities include a volley ball net, games room, adventure playground and a camp fire area. And if you’ve never passed an evening telling the kids stories in front of a camp fire, then now’s your chance.

The seaside resort of Bude’s is less than 10 minutes away by car, and with its dune-dotted sandy beach it’s the perfect destination for those days out together. Bodmin Moor’s just twenty minutes away too, so if you’re keen to discover the scenery made famous by BBC 1’s Poldark, it’s the perfect spot for a family walk.
