East Thorne Farm

East Thorne Farm

Bude, Cornwall

East Thorne Farm is one of those places that just feels a world away from the hustle and bustle, and life at this picturesque yurt retreat’s all about enjoying a laidback lifestyle in a beautiful setting. The resort’s home to a collection of luxury yurts, each one with a traditional wooden frame and felt lining so that you can experience glamping yet still be warm and cosy – no matter what the weather. Set on sturdy decking so that you don’t have to worry about muddy feet, our yurts are home to handmade beds, log burning stoves and blankets perfect for snuggling.

Al fresco kitchens

Dining al fresco’s part of the fun when you’re glamping, and East Thorne Farm takes outdoor living to a new level with its al fresco kitchens. There’s something satisfying about cooking for your clan on wood fired clay ovens and campfire Dutch ovens, and the kids will love it. You can stock up on local produce at the nearby farm shop and cook it in style…outside in the fresh air.

So, if it’s been too long since you shared the kind of family meal you’ll remember for years to come – a stay at East Thorne Farm’s the perfect opportunity to get the kids excited about cooking up a storm.

On the farm

We love the fact that there are farm animals onsite at East Throne Farm. There’s something magical about being able to take the kids along to say hello to a whole collection of furry friends, and it’s a great way to get the kids excited about being closer to nature and enjoying time in the Great Outdoors.

Just think, you’ll be able to experience a taste of country life, and the animals are always happy to see new faces. They’re a laidback bunch at the farm, so you’ll be welcome to pop along and spend time with the animals whenever you feel like saying hello…and you’ll be able to snap some seriously cute selfies.

Fun and games

With an adventure playground and an indoor games room, there’s plenty to keep the kids entertained in between trips to the area’s beaches during your stay. When they’re not practicing their sandcastle skills, they can be enjoying the fresh air and the open green spaces around the resort, making new friends in the adventure playground, or hanging out in the games room. With all the usual games to play, the games room makes a relaxing space for kids of all ages to spend time on wet days, or when they fancy unwinding.

Massages

As if we’d forget the mums and dads…there’s a massage treatment room especially for those of you who are ready for some pampering during your stay. The treatment’s available include everything from hot and cold stone massages to facials, so there’s plenty to choose from when it comes to a little ‘you’ time.

Whether you book a treatment to welcome you so that you can get into holiday mode, or you round off your stay with one after all those invigorating walks along the area’s coastline, there’s a treatment to suit every kind of visitor.
