Atlantic Trail Cycle Route

Things To Do

The Atlantic Trail Cycle Route is a waymarked trail in Bude, and was named after the Atlantic Coast Express train that served the area from London Waterloo in the 1900s. Parts of this traffic-free cycleway follow the former tracks and its bridges, and there are routes linking it to Cornwall’s Camel Trail and Devon’s Tarka Trail.

The Atlantic Trail Cycle Route offers a whole range of cycle trails to choose from, so whether you hire bikes and enjoy a ride during your holiday, or take advantage of the smooth track to walk a section, it’s a wonderful way to take in the beautiful countryside surrounding Bude.
