This one’s for those of you who are at your happiest exploring somewhere new on foot…the Boscastle Walking Week is set to return from 18 April to 25 April. The week sees walking guides who know everything there is to know about the area lead walkers along some of the trails and routes that they wouldn’t normally follow.
Don’t worry if it’s been awhile since you went to the gym (well it’s been winter after all), as there are walks specially designed to suit all ages and abilities. The walks include rambles to some of the area’s stunning waterfalls, or walks through the landscape that inspired Thomas Hardy to write some of his finest poetry.
If you’re feeling energetic there’s a walk up to the highest clifftop in Cornwall, and the views you’ll take in once you reach the summit will be well worth the effort. Boscastle is home to some of the most striking coastline in Britain, and Boscastle Walking Week makes it great fun enjoying the resort on foot – and the experienced guides will be on hand to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
