Dog Friendly Cornwall WalksAs The South West Coast Path runs through Cornwall, this is always a great place to start when searching for a suitable dog friendly Cornwall walk. There is a beautiful short walk around the mysterious Tintagel that covers easy, flat land. The walk takes in spectacular clifftop views of the ancient Tintagel castle – rumoured to have been the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur! Whether you choose accommodation in Bude, Polperro, Fistral, Newquay...anywhere along the Cornish coastline, you’ll be able to choose a South West Coast Path section for you and your pet to enjoy.

Dog Friendly Cornwall AttractionsThere is a range of dog friendly family attractions in Cornwall, but make sure you check specific attractions before leaving. For some ideas, many of the gardens and grounds of the historic castle are ideal for dogs – so the majority of them welcome dogs along. Treganna Castle in St Ives welcomes dogs along to its miles of landscaped gardens, so you can enjoy a stroll with your pet while you eander the grounds. The ruined Tintagel Castle is dog friendly, and in Falmouth, Pendennis Castle welcomes dogs as long as they remain on leads. Unfortunately only guide dogs can be taken into The Eden Project. |

Dog Friendly Cornwall BeachesCornwall is famous for its appealing, sandy beaches. Luckily for those planning dog friendly holidays in Cornwall, many of them welcome dogs throughout the year – so you won’t have to avoid them during your holiday! Summerleaze Beach in Bude is a great choice, as dogs are allowed all year round - but they must stay on the lead between May and September. Whitsand Bay Beach is dog friendly all year, there is a seasonal ban on Fistral Beach in Newquay, and Perranporth Beach also allows dogs.
