This Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant also offers a delivery service, so if you’d rather not leave your accommodation you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Open every day of the week, Elachi Restaurant aims to serve glamorous dishes for a true taste of the east, and uses family recipes for an authentic experience. According to the reviews the staff are fantastic too.

Enmore Inn PubThe Enmore Inn is found just on the outskirts of the town, and it’s a favourite with guests of accommodation in Bridgwater. The restaurant has plenty of space so it’s family-friendly, and the menu includes a selection of reasonably priced hot meals and snacks. There’s outside seating too, and the Sunday carvery is very popular! As the Enmore Pub is one of the best-loved in the area it’s advisable to book a table during peak seasons. All food is created using local produce. The reviews speak for themselves.

The Olive MillJust outside of Bridgwater, The Olive Meal is a chic restaurant is a scenic country location. Expect elegant English and Mediterranean dishes in an impressive setting, and all the charm of a family-run business. Sundays see a full English roast, and the specials often include stone baked pizza and delicious fish meals. There is also a comfortable bar, perfect to relax after a day’s exploring in the surrounding countryside, and the extensive wine list will satisfy even the most sophisticated tastes!

Clavelshay BarnIt’s little wonder the Clavelshay Barn has been voted the best restaurant in Bridgwater by the TripAdvisor reviewers, set in a pretty stone barn the restaurant is bursting with rural charm. It would be a shame to stay in self-catering Bridgwater accommodation without trying a taste of Somerset, and this is just the place to do it. The Clavelshay Barn Restaurant is perched beside the Quantock Hills on a dairy farm. Needless to say, the fresh, local produce and family-run atmosphere make this a great experience. Even the water is from the farm’s spring!
