Dog Friendly Bodmin AttractionsThere is a great range of dog friendly Boscastle and Tintagel attractions. Dogs are more than welcome throughout much of Tintagel Castle, as long as they remain on their leads. This is the iconic Tintagel attraction, and a family picnic in view of the ancient ruin with its crashing waves at the foot will make for an unforgettable family day out during your dog friendly Tintagel holiday. Just along the coast, Bossiney Beach welcomes dogs throughout the year, and the fascinating Museum of Witchcraft in Boscastle also allows dogs throughout. This dog friendly Boscastle museum is home to the world’s largest collection of witchcraft artefacts, please note that sensitive children may find parts unsettling.

Dog Friendly Boscastle & Tintagel BeachesYou’ll find a dog friendly Boscastle and Tintagel beach right between the two resorts! Bossiney Bay lies at the foot of the cliffs between Boscastle and Tintagel, and it allows dogs all year round. Because this sandy cove is quite hidden from the main road, it’s usually fairly quiet, so it’s great for a stroll with your dog during a dog friendly holiday in Boscastle or Tintagel. Access to the cove is very easy, and at low tide it connects to nearby Benoath Cove, which is more difficult to reach. There’s a lay by car park at the top of the cliffs, so if you drive from your holiday cottage you won’t have far to walk to the shore. |

Dog Friendly Boscastle & Tintagel WalksIf you visit Bossiney Beach with your four-legged friend, you’ll find a lovely dog friendly Boscastle and Tintagel walk if you head north towards the headlands from the cove. If you stroll past Willapark you’ll reach the Rocky Valley, and this has some great scenery. A walk through this beautiful valley will include pretty little wooden bridges and winding paths beside the stream, the perfect walk for you and your dog. If you continue, you’ll find some ancient ruins...look closely and you should see a maze carved into the stone! If you carry on further still, you’ll reach a mill at the foot of Bossiney Hill. |
