Wood's CafeAccording to you guys on TripAdvisor Woods Cafe is the number one choice for those in self-catering Bodmin accommodation! Hidden in the gorgeous Cardinham Woods just two miles from Bodmin, we aren’t exaggerating when we say this is an escape as well as a cafe. The historic cottage is a fantastic place to sample a cream tea, and although beautifully decorated it offers outside seating with plenty of space. Dog owners will find their pets welcome outside, and there are facilities for them too. Children can enjoy the adventure play area in safety, and this cafe makes a great resting spot during a bike ride.

Bodmin JailDescribed by one witty TripAdvisor reviewer as ‘the best prison food you’ll ever get’, Bodmin Jail is home to a unique restaurant as well as a fascinating history. You’ll find homemade food in a cosy setting right in the heart of Bodmin’s sinister jail. Guests of dog friendly Bodmin accommodation should bear in mind that this restaurant welcomes dogs too! Now a family attraction for all weathers, the jail includes original cells from the former civil and naval prison (which closed in 1927), as well as a courtyard and leading bar and restaurant.
