Spring must be just around the corner as the Falmouth Spring Flower Show is set for 24 and 25 March.

The two-day event has been running for more than 50 years, and it sees the Princess Pavilions fill with beautiful displays of flowers, shrubs, cacti and much more.

The show is the perfect weekend activity for anybody with a passion for gardening, but it’s also a unique event for the whole family.

Excitement is building in Falmouth, Cornwall, as Brad Pitt will begin filming his latest blockbuster any day now.

The coastal town has seen some strange goings on in the last few days as preparation for filming of zombie film World War Z takes place.

The RFA Argus is anchored close by and has been covered with mock snow and ice, but many are hoping the temperature will soar with a glimpse of Brad any day now!

The Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival arrives next month, running from 17, 18 and 19 June.
