If you’re thinking of a holiday in this stunning corner of Wales, just take a photo of your pooch enjoying the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and enter it into the competition.

Each month, the dog with the most online votes will be announced in the Brecon & Radnor Express, as well as being entered for the title of ‘Canal Dog of the Year 2012’.

The Kents Pub in Torquay is just a stroll from the peaceful Meadfoot Beach, and dogs are allowed throughout the bar area and beer garden. With comfy sofas and an open fire, this welcoming pub serves lunch and dinner too.
