Visitors to Agatha Christie’s rural retreat can now arrive in style – aboard a steam train!

The infamous Greenway near Dartmouth has its own steam train station – Greenway Halt - for 2012, and it runs from Paignton and Dartmouth.  

The station is part of the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company line.

St Austell holiday cottages The passes are available for all residents of Eden’s Cornwall and neighbouring Devon, and they’re just £5 for one year or £10 for two!

Pretty Padstow on the north coast of Cornwall received two unexpected visitors yesterday when a pair of Killer Whales swam happily just yards from the shore.  

Padstow Holiday Cottages The stunning whales were spotted by several walkers as they swam towards Newquay, just one hundred yards from the headland!

Newquay has a colony of grey seals, which are a favourite with Killer Whales, so it’s thought the mother and calf were heading to look for them.

Royal William Yard is a popular area of the city and a historic landmark, and the newest restaurant to its name will attract even more visitors to Europe’s largest collection of former military buildings.
