The Brixham Trawler Race returns on Saturday 16th, and it’s one of South Devon’s biggest annual events.
The race sees the skippers’ boats decorated with bunting before they’re raced around the Bay in front of a delighted crowd ashore!
Back on dry land there will be stalls, activities, refreshments and collections for local charities to help make this a great day. The race starts at 11am and the prizes will be given at 3.30pm.
Remember, the first boat across the finishing line isn’t necessarily the winner – there are some pretty strict handicapping rules in place.
