There’s always something going on in Bournemouth, and its Classic Cars on the Prom event is one of the most popular summer happenings. Classic Cars on the Prom returns to Bournemouth on Sunday 14 April, and that means a line up of vintage cars and motorbikes on the promenade every Sunday until September.
A stay in one of our Bournemouth holiday cottages this summer means the chance to wander the nostalgic line up of classic vehicles in the setting of one of the UK’s most loved resorts.
Bournemouth’s West Overcliff Promenade sees hundreds of classic cars converge on it for weekly displays on Sundays (weather and events permitting), and there can be as many as 130 to admire at a time.
The line up of classic vehicles changes from week to week, but enthusiasts can be sure that they’ll all date from between 1915 to the early 1980s . The weekly displays are held behind the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) from 4pm – 6.30pm. To check whether the event will be happening on the day please call 07885 792711.
Eligible vehicles can be displayed free of charge, and feel free to park up and leave at any time during the line up if you’re an owner. The line up of classic cars and motor bikes often stretches for as far as the eye can see, delighting enthusiasts, visitors and lucky passer bys.
