If you love fresh seafood and shellfish June’s a great month to visit Cornwall. The county is hosting three foodie festivals this month, in Rock, Looe and Fowey.
Rock Oyster Festival: 22 – 24 June
The Rock Oyster Festival will take place at the historic Dinham House which has gorgeous views of the Camel Estuary. Festival-goers will munch their way through hundreds of local mussels in celebration of the area’s seafood, and there will be music and arts to enjoy too.
Looe Festival of Food and Drink: 23 – 24 June
Enjoy the real taste of Cornwall at this festival dedicated to promoting local produce and suppliers. Watch demonstrations by the experts, sample the fodder and treat yourself to some fresh produce at this Looe event. What better place than this traditional fishing town to enjoy Cornwall’s fresh food and drink?!
Fowey Mussel Fest: 23 June
There’s a brand new event coming to Fowey, the very first Fowey Mussel Fest will be held on Town Quay and all are welcome. As well as live music, you’ll find tasting sessions, chef demonstrations, champagne tasting and oysters.
