If the hit film War Horse has left you feeling inspired to wander some of the film’s Dartmoor locations, there’s a Gutter Tor guided walk on 19 February to show off some of the most recognisable backdrops to the film.
The walk starts at 10.30am, and booking is essential on 01822 890414.

The passes are available for all residents of Eden’s Cornwall and neighbouring Devon, and they’re just £5 for one year or £10 for two!
If you’re thinking of a holiday in this stunning corner of Wales, just take a photo of your pooch enjoying the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and enter it into the competition.
The two-day event has been running for more than 50 years, and it sees the Princess Pavilions fill with beautiful displays of flowers, shrubs, cacti and much more.
The procession sees the St Piran’s Trust act out the tale of the patron saint of tinners, who is believed to have been washed up from Ireland in the fifth century.
The dramatic tale of the fight for horse and owner to stay together against the forces of war was filmed on Devon’s Dartmoor National Park, and we can vouch that it’s just as gorgeous as it looks on the big screen!
With beautiful Devon right on our doorstep we can't help but feel inspired by the many free and simple things to do at this time of year.
Hurling the Silver Ball forms an essential part of St Ives Feast, which takes place on Monday 06 February and celebrates the anniversary of the consecration of the parish church of St Eia, in 1434.
