If you know where to go, Torbay can be the perfect time to enjoy some walkies on the beach with your pet - no matter what time of year it is. So, here are five of our favourite dog friendly beaches on the sunny English Riviera.
1. Churston Cove
The path down to this sandy cove may be long and winding (and by that we mean steep), but the views are worth it. Tucked between wooded cliffs, this beach is perfect for a wander with your pet – and the water’s so clear you can see you toes.

3. St Mary's Bay
A firm favourite with our James and his dog Spencer, St Mary’s Bay’s home to the kind of scenery that makes us glad to live in Devon. When the tide’s out and the beach is huge, this is one of those spots that could have been made for dog walks.
4. Babbacombe Beach
If you’re after a bit of an adventure with your pet, take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway from Babbacombe Downs to this sleepy beach at the foot of the cliffs and enjoy the panoramic sea views and the peace and quiet.
5. Fairy Cove
